And why are all the women thin, tanned, showing off toned bellies?..........I'm sat here in my pyjamas and big blue dressing gown with polar bears on it (got it three Christmases ago), hair flat and stuck to my head (post bath style), with big furry slippers. I can see DH watching them perform, with the occasional glance in my direction - his look says it all.......
Even Mrs Germany beats me hands down........!!

PS Austria AWFUL - was it a joke? An 'up yours' to the Eurovision?

PPS Ireland not as good as I was expecting - tho' they're always poular and may well still win!

My DH won't let me turn over...have Tatu been on yet though, how soon until they are? I might be able to turn it for a few minutes and I really want to see if they live up to the hype.

I take exception to what Terry just said.... the French hardly ever give any points to the Belgian... so this is indeed a surprise

Yep, the UK singer was definitely out of tune, I was cringing. Agree with TW about post Iraq war backlash - we got zilch, but do I really care ??????

I feel I could be there myself reading this thread ... sadly they don't show Eurovision in NZ ... wonder why?

The British entry wasn't just out of tune it was in the wrong key. I can only assume that as all the singers were out it must have been a feedback problem and they couldn't hear the music. Shame if so.

Well I've just got back from seeing Radiohead and that was much better than Eurovision I reckon!s

Highly exciting - nil pints! Oops, nil points I maean! Damn! Actually, shows the power of the telephone vote that even Latvia were second to last - the host usually gets lots of 1 or 2 points out of politeness. Yes we were shte but not the shiest. God, how Europe must hate us, not even Israel, who I was relying on for a point, gave in.
