just seen a house in the right area, with everything we had on our tick list and more.....

im on i.b at moment, but setting up own business after wed and dd earns ok wage, but mortgage people would have to take all this into consideration to give us the money!

we can afford the martgage as we are now, but its wether they believe us

then..we have to sell our!!

but ill be so so so gutted if we dont get it

i feel sick
never felt like this about a house and dp does too
and were lovely people, very clean and nice(the house clean not them..or maybe they are too...arrrghhh im blathering now)

i keep walking by a big house that was empty it is now being done up i am head over heels in love with it ..i would like to run a posh b and b [fourposters etc]but could never afford it ,,but i have to walk past the house and oh ,,i want it

Evesmama,are there any other mortgage companies you could try?Anyone who could act as guarantor (sp) for you?Did they say why they won't give you a mortgage?

it was the financial advisor at an estate agents we sold with last time, he was god so we went back to him..its becasause although dp is working im on I.B and even though the take it into consideration, wont lend us as much as they would if my amount was a working wage.

would have possibly asked BIL/SIL to ask as guarantaur(sp)but they are in process of buying a £430'000 house so dont think that would be right

and even though i 'was' in process of setting own business up, they wouldnt take my estimated earnings into account until after one year of trading
