just out of interest - nobody came round

charleypops · 29/04/2005 22:20

That lion poo sounds like an excellent idea. My dog keeps cats away, but if he didn't I'd be straight round the zoo with a bucket and brightest smile!

And I love cats

fairyfly · 29/04/2005 22:21

were you scared, that would put me on edge all evening, i would have to ring friends to come round

charleypops · 29/04/2005 22:25

I wonder if Lion poo is dangerous though

Ithinkitwasme · 29/04/2005 22:26

yes but DH is PHSL at it all, and I'm now tipsy so no longer jumping at every single noise

fairyfly · 29/04/2005 22:28

You'll be buying a tin of carnation and a toy mouse in the morning

HappyDaddy · 29/04/2005 22:49

What the hell happened in here? I can't believe what I'm reading.

FairyFly, you are a legend.

I have 2 cats. My neighbour came round to tell me that they are terrorising his rabbit, while in it's cage, he was fine with it but was worried that his jack russell would kill my cats. I told him that it would teach my cats to stay out of his garden. They crap in one spot at the bottom of my garden, incidentally.

Uniqorn · 29/04/2005 22:51

Lion poo is safe and really works. The web page says no more pussy poops They come as pellets coated in lion poo but you have to keep the kids away from them.

If you threw your cat at your neighbour's cat would that be OK, d'you think?

Caligula · 29/04/2005 23:03

Hmm, cat wars, eh? Were they bullying the other cat? That has the making of a classic Mumsnet thread...

CatAttack · 29/04/2005 23:06

I suppose it depends if you were aiming to hit the cat or just frighten it off. If you were aiming to hit it then that makes it even - both cats get bashed. But if you throw your cat to miss and it just bounces off a tree or a bush then your cat comes off worse.

Caligula · 29/04/2005 23:07

Haven't you changed your name back yet? I want to go to bed and you keep making me stay up and PMSL.

CatAttack · 29/04/2005 23:14

I have posted on your bin thread but now CatAttack is about to disappear into the ether...for ever.

assumedname · 30/04/2005 00:28

By the way, cats don't poo on grass.

It's far more likely to be a hedgehog.

QueenEagle · 30/04/2005 00:28

Oh this is sooo hilarious. I cannot believe this thread is still going. Been out all evening, come back and find more than 200 postings have been made in my absence. Was wetting myself before I went out and am on the floor now.

Swiperfox - if those 2 cats of yours still need a home to go to then I will gladly take them to keep up my target practice. Feel free to CAT me!

Chandra · 30/04/2005 01:27

My MIL has found a method to deal with cats ruining her garden, she has got a cat trap and rings the city pound every time she catches one. She has catch 9 during the last year. Obviously, she doesn't live in England, if she were here the RSPCA officer will come to collect her rather than the poor horrible cats.

Having said that...I must convince her to move to England...how much do you get for trapping cats?

HotTiles · 30/04/2005 01:36

My cat can't go and poo in the neighbours gardens as they've all got big dogs, (so it poos in mine and I have to clear it up so that my children can't get to it. The neighbours don't have children so it would be better if it poo'd in their gardens I think).

Do you think I should report them to the RSPCA for infringing my cat's roaming rights?

Chandra · 30/04/2005 01:42

Nah... just get rid of the cat

sunchowder · 30/04/2005 01:47

Chandra, how is your little one?

Chandra · 30/04/2005 01:54

BEtter, thanks for asking, got a new inhaler and the coughing disapeared.

sunchowder · 30/04/2005 02:01

Oh Good, I was so worried it was more serious than that. What a relief!

Chandra · 30/04/2005 02:16

Apparently it was an asthma attack, never had a proper one before, were still hoping that it wasn't that.

QueenEagle · 30/04/2005 06:38

Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat, where didst thou be?
I snuck round the neighbours of Jo23
Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat, what didst thou do?
I dug up her garden and did a big poo.

Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat, Are you alright?
When she threw that big football that gave you a fright?
Pussy Cat Pussy Cat, if you've any sense
I'd scarper more quickly, don't sit on the fence.

Joanne23 · 30/04/2005 07:53

I'm glad you all find it so funny . I did go over to neighbour's last night but once again they didn't answer so I don't think it was this other poster. I am totally shocked that there could be 2 people who would throw a ball at a cat on the same day. but I think my atitude to it has changed slightly from the more serious posters (the ones who gave a dam) on here and rather than be angry I will say sorry. I did change my name for this post because I wasn't sure what the response would be. It was far worse than I ever imagined so I am going to find an alternative site to visit I know none of your will care about this decision but it does make me sad because I have enjoed mumsnet
