E primavera ...Buona Pasqua Tutti .......

can you believe that i never slept with the kids? once because ds was ill, but then we put him back because nobody could sleep. and a few siestas on holiday. i just so much like my own space, dp is lucky to be invited in...

well i love sleeping with them... mostly because it's the only way i actually sleep, otherwise i am up and down like a yo yo all night... di necessita' virtu'...

I occasionally love sleeping with dd1 when dh is not in (unfortunately only happened when in hosp ).
when I'm at my mum I love sleeping on my own in the single bed and I feel a teeager again, I even have dreams about that time. spooky but timetravelling nice.
we love having the kids with us in the morning - mainly because we are too lazy to do anything else then. poor dd1 has learned to climb the stairs upwhen she wakes up as no one bothers to go and see her.
I do not like sleeping with babies as they wriggle and you cannot push them away, as in with dd1, as too small and delicate.

am tired. have you finished zeno?

Lovely sunny day and am taking day off to go to beach for parents last day.
We more often than not end up with ds in our bed,usually in the early hours. If he's ill then he starts there as well. I love sleeping with him, love it when he puts his little arms round my neck when he is asleep for cuddles. Having said that dont think is as nice for DP who ends up getting hell kicked out of him by DS .

I missed you guya, and was extremely gutted for having missed the meet up... we got to the NHM late and we found it impossible to carry ds away... he is so interested in everything, bless.

Our trip to the UK has been great. The children started to speak in English (with a few mistakes, but hei!) as if they've never moved away and were over the moon to see their old friends. I was very happy to see friends as well. And I bought a copy of Living etc

Hope all is well with you. Ds has a full week off school, but is loaded with bloody homeworks. Help!

BS - Was that the place that is a farm and has 2 cottages in it with like a gravel garden at the front ?? Just as I was watching Grandi Progetti on Sky the other day ! Gald you had a good time. We have done nothing about a flat al mare per Gugnio and now its warm I bet we will not find a reasonable priced one either.
DD has a gita to the scuola materna next week and they have been practicing walking in fila - it is sooooo sweet watching them all in line hand in hand!

Just on here really briefly whilst taking a break from some really boring number thingies. I hope everyone had a really good Easter and is enjoying the lovely weather. Oh how I wish I lived near a beach right now, but then it would probably be annoyingly windy (memories of pebbly south coast beaches or duney E.Anglian ones).

Right, really must tear myself away, DD will wake up any minute now and I need to finish what I'm doing before she distracts me.

Rosa the GD for the place we went to is on tonight here on More4- it's a couple whose house burnt down two days before her due date, and they weren't insured... and so they rebuilt it all from scratch.

I have emiled the Croce Rossa asking now what is needed - they say it can be 10 days before they reply. I would rather send something concrete IYKWIM rather than soldi if I can . It is going to be a long time before they all get back into houses and with the caldo season coming up ...Plus those in hotels on the coast can't stay there much longer where will they go ?

Yes, I think sending stuff is a great idea. I'll start looking for charities to donate to, things like toys or equipment for scuole materne etc, I was thinking.

BS - I diddn't realise they had split the place into rental as well - We never get the follow ups just the 1st program and I often wonder what happened to them. They did a re run of this one recently - Probably why it is in my mind especially as they went so much into debt ! Glad you had a nice holiday though.
I am on the Mac and I hate it it makes everything so much bigger and I can't work out how to shrink it !!!!
