How many threads is this now?

OP posts:
MatthewBellamysMuse · 20/04/2009 17:20

Now if you would only start worshipping at Matthew Bellamy's feet, then I'd be happy.

MatthewBellamysMuse · 20/04/2009 17:53

I love his hair in this one

Berrie · 20/04/2009 18:23

We don't change much do we?

MatthewBellamysMuse · 20/04/2009 18:29

Of course we do. Lee who?
The boys have discovered music on demand on Virgin media. They're watching Thriller at the moment. Their other favourites are Ghost Town (Special) Ace of Spades (Motorhead) Pass the Dutchie (Musical Youth) never Miss a Beat (Kaiser Chiefs).

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 21/04/2009 08:45

Motorhead? We'll pass over Musical Youth on grounds of their age (didn't half of them end up in prison?), and move swiftly to the Specials, which is actually a darned cool song. If thoroughly depressing.

And yes, life is richer with Edward in it. Apparently there's a Facebook group along the lines of 'I now have unreasonable expectations of men' devoted to him.

Today I am expecting my Shakespeare Sonnets cd. Do you think it'll help when I'm on the treadmill?

MatthewBellamysMuse · 21/04/2009 09:00

Ace of Spades is brilliant for playing air guitar to
Fitness regime is supposed to be starting today but I'm a bit hung over...

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 21/04/2009 09:19

A bit? Well that's better than a lot.

I had my gym induction last night. I'm having lunch in Truro then a meeting at 4pm, also in Truro, so I'm going to be a good girl and take my kit with me. {grin]

I guess I now need to buy an Ipod and then decide what needs to be on the playlist for motivation. Ideas? Apart from Motorhead.

oggsfrog · 21/04/2009 09:39

Won't be around until later if at all as I'm working.
Motorhead were great! I used to be into Black Sabbath, Gillan, Iron Maiden, Rainbow, Whitesnake, ACDC, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, Joy Division, The Levellers... Eeee, those were the days

Now I like Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder... and erm ... haven't got time... got to dash.

MatthewBellamysMuse · 21/04/2009 13:09

One word, Zeb.

Muse.

MatthewBellamysMuse · 21/04/2009 16:37

And Hard-fi.
Send me your new iPod and I'll load up all my music onto it. I've got about 2,000 songs on mine so far.

MatthewBellamysMuse · 21/04/2009 17:23

And Lenny Kravitz.
And The Prodigy.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 21/04/2009 19:56

I feel 'orrible. I think an early night with lemsip or something is coming up, listening to DT whispering sweet sonnets into my ears .

Oh. And I have a job offer. . 3 month contract, but a good job that keeps me 'out there'. For the NHS would you believe.

And thanks for the ipod offers. I think I need to ponder the Prodigy et al.....

Berrie · 21/04/2009 21:21

The Prod a good idea Zeb!
Why do you feel bad...is it the work out?

Woo hoo well done about the job!

oggsfrog · 21/04/2009 22:53

Managed to get the needles Berrie? If not you can always give it a try on the ones you've got.
I've test knitted one and it seems okay now, so I just need to type it up and send it you, then you can start. I knitted the test one in a different yarn so I've got the same yarn as you to start with.
Have you joined Rav yet?

That's good about the job Zeb. Well done .
Have you listened to the cd yet?

oggsfrog · 22/04/2009 01:14

Oh Berrie, Berrie, Berrie. What have you unleashed?

My feet and fingers are numb with cold.
My bum is dead from perching on the end of the seat.
I haven't even had a drink.
Dh went to bed hours ago.

I can't... just can't... drag... myself... away... from... the... computer... and it's all your fault!

oggsfrog · 22/04/2009 07:07

Morning Brrr. Frosty.

Working again today, then helping in the school garden after school.

What are you all doing on this beautiful sunny day?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 22/04/2009 09:03

Thanks. I'm pondering probably accepting it as I guess the NHS is a safer bet than a financial advisor in these 'troubled' times.

I feel orrible as I have a nasty head cold thing - it's in my ears and my throat feels like it has razors in it when I swallow. Not a good night's sleep.
Still, today I've got a Harry Potter fest if you all fancy lying on my sofa wrapped up in duvets with cocoa and tissues. So, do I begin with the GOF or end with it?!

oggsfrog · 22/04/2009 09:18

Sorry you're feeling crap . Which ones do you have to choose from? I much prefer the later ones rather than the first three, as with the books.

Dd started reading HP and the PS when she got home from school yesterday... and finished it before she went to bed at 8pm .

Berrie · 22/04/2009 09:31

No thanks...still got my own sore throat!

Tee hee and ho ho! I knew you'd fall Oggs!

Berrie · 22/04/2009 09:37

May I direct you back here?

MatthewBellamysMuse · 22/04/2009 09:45

It was only a matter of time, Oggs
Sorry you're feeling crap Zeb. Congrats on the job. When do you start?
Last night i had no wine, just lots of water. And I did a whole hour on the stepper. I whacked the Muse Live at Wembley Stadium DVD on and pumped away in time to the music.
They're jaw-droppingly good live. I'm sooooo going to see them when they tour later in the year. And there'll be a new album this summer - woohoo!
This morning I have cleaned and tidied the house [halo emoticon] and in a minute I'm going to do more reps on the stepper. I need to lose the big bum and the bingo wings, and fast. I'm counting on Mr Bellamy's angelic voice to keep me motivated.

oggsfrog · 22/04/2009 09:57

He certainly seems to motivate you Lyra

Hope you feel better soon Zeb.

Berrie, I'd forgotten about those pics...

One. Word.

Ravelry.

Berrie · 22/04/2009 10:08

You learned that perstisance from me methinks... Alright alright..when I get a minute!

Berrie · 22/04/2009 10:18

Lyra you were in my dream... there was this lovely man who fancied me but I am married so frustratingly we never had it away but anyway you were egging me on..thats it.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 22/04/2009 10:20

Good for you Lyra. I should have been doing that last night, but came home and had a huge bowl of comfort pasta instead. Typical. Just when you join a gym, chock full of good intentions....

I'm liking the photos. As ever....

Right, back to my bed and my portable dvd player .
