How many threads is this now?

OP posts:

Not sure about legality.
You can't listen to Twilight on audio, you have to properly read it.

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 09:06

I'm knackered too. Stayed up late downloading Twilight soundtrack. It's pretty good, especially the Muse song Supermassive Black Hole from the excellent baseball scene.

oggspocket · 31/03/2009 10:21

Don't know if our connection will be up to it tbh.
I've just looked at what speed we actually have and it's 100kbps. The bumf says up to 512kbps
Still very pleased with it, but it can hardly be classed as superfast can it?

Berrie · 31/03/2009 10:44

Morning!
Yes I'm a druggie. This morning I had a big orange opiate, an acupan, 2 paracaetamol, an anti inflammatory, a citilopram and a contraceptive...all in one swallow...followed by a nice cup of tea and marmalade on toast...in bed!
Am downstairs now. I had to crawl and then use dh like a zimmer but I'm feeling optamistic for a recovery. It helps that we've given up trying to cope and dh is here. I was feeling especially vulnerable yesterday and in constant pain.

Happy last day Zeb!

Berrie · 31/03/2009 10:59

Oggs, you talking about listening to Twilight as an audio book was the final straw! I have ordered a copy and sent it to your address. It will be dispatched in 1-2 working days.

Now don't give me no jibba jabba!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 31/03/2009 11:51

Lunchtime.

Oh yes, Robin Hood. It was the same as ever. Bad guys more interesting than the good guys. Tuck was interesting. Not fat. But actually I liked him, he has wayyy more gumption than the rest of the gang, Robin 'boy band' Hood included.
The only downside is that Guy had a well dodgy haircut. But I'm hoping that will change.

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 12:44

Lol at jibba jabba
Zeb, are you a free woman now? Are you off to get pissed?

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 12:46

Tesco said my Twilight DVD has been despatched but it still hasn't arrived. They're teasing me. I wanna see it on a full-sized screen with no Swedish subtitles.

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 12:47

Oh and I've started reading The Reluctant Fundamentalist. It's ok so far but quite put-down-able.

Berrie · 31/03/2009 12:50

That's just cruel! It can't be can it?

I downloaded a dvd rip last night. No subtitles and we can watch it on the TV. Going to watch it with dh tonight. Hope he doesn't think it's silly.

Berrie · 31/03/2009 12:51

Hah...I started Middlemarch yesterday. Was hard pressed to make it to the end of the first paragraph. Zeb had to be studying it to have read it more than once!

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 12:54

Dh will think it's just a silly teen movie, which I suppose it is if you haven't read the book.
Berrie, you're not trying hard enough with Middlemarch. It's highbrow y'know. There's no enjoyment in it but you'll be able to say you've read it and feel smug.

oggspocket · 31/03/2009 13:01

Oh Berrie. Let me know what I owe you. You are incorrigible .
He must be quite something this Mr Cullen. Does he have dark hair? A floppy fringe?

Trying to sort out new email addresses this morning

Zeb, do you take the Times by any chance? or write for the times . Your description of Robin Hood bears an uncanny resemblance to the previews in Sat's edition . Boy band indeed.

Lyra your new book sounds very worthy. I'll google.

Berrie, what size knitting needles do you have?

Berrie · 31/03/2009 13:06

Tis a gift my Ogglet. All that you owe me is to read the damn thing at once and join in the mooning over Edward. He is everything you want him to be and more. I am currently googling the movie of the next book as I need to be connected back to their world somehow...

Berrie · 31/03/2009 13:07

Er...possibly 4 1/2...have retreated back to bed so can't look.

oggspocket · 31/03/2009 13:15

Well then please accept my most effusive thanks . I promise to start reading as soon as it hits the doormat.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 31/03/2009 13:24

Oggs! Are you accusing me of plagiarism? OK, yes, I did get Saturday's Times, but only cos they'd sold out of the Telegraph. But I didn't consciously copy it.

I thought Twilight wasn't out until next Monday. I'm off to buy Breaking Dawn later. Drinks start at 3.30pm!

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 13:56

Berrie, have you read Midnight Sun yet? Tis very good.
I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble letting go of the Cullens. I want Carlisle to adopt me
Oggs, floppy, dark hair - well more bronze and tousled. Good enough?

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 14:31

Zeb, I pre-ordered from Tesco and they emailed me to say it had been despatched. Turns out that was a big fat lie.

Berrie · 31/03/2009 15:06

Not yet...scurries off

Berrie · 31/03/2009 15:20

This is a nice picture
Just getting in the mood for tonight!

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 16:22

Oooh, lovely. I'm guessing that's Edward in Volterra. He's still not my Edward but he looks pretty good in that picture.
Have fun tonight.

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 16:24

They've cast a 20-year-old as Caius
I thought Caius was older. And Marcus and Aro.

Berrie · 31/03/2009 16:31

Glad he forgot to put his shirt on

I can't remember who Caius is

EdwardCullensWife · 31/03/2009 16:32

The white-haired nasty one of the Volturi.
Shame on you, Berrie.
Where did you find that pic btw? Are there others?
