How many threads is this now?

OP posts:
oggspocket · 26/03/2009 19:59

Does that mean yes or no? Confused

Start with the dishcloth pattern I sent you then, or just work your way through the instructions, knitting up the little samples like the relief heart in knit and purl.

Berrie · 27/03/2009 07:17

Sorry, it meant no.

I will do the heart thing.

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 08:36

Morning

Berrie get your arse onto Ravelry! Today!

Zeb are you excited? Is the flat clear and clean and ready to be vacated?

Lyra, what's on today? More painting?

Berrie · 27/03/2009 08:51

I'll join when you read the first chapter of Twilight!

Had my pills last night...nice and floaty, some pain relief...can hardly walk this morning. The Doctor said I should have them at night but the box talks about the usual dose being 3 times a day. He only gave me one strip...should I take them and they run out then I need some more quite soon or do as he says. I'm getting really worried about not working now.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 27/03/2009 09:24

Nope. I'm afraid I'm not excited yet - I've too much to do. I have to finish packing today, which shouldn't take too long as it's only really the kitchen left - saving the worst til last, as usual. Then I'll have to go over there and do all that stuff. Then the removal guys are coming first thing tomorrow. I'll probably also end up going on another box hunt today as well....

I've wangled the keys to the flat until next Friday at the latest, as I have to work Monday & Tuesday. I'm hoping I'll get all the cleaning done by Wednesday, but that will depend on the size of my hangover, as Tuesday night is the huge company drinks bash.

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 09:28

Ring the Dr.
What's the benefit of taking them at night? I can see that it means you will get a good sleep, but you need the relief during the day too, surely?

I'm looking for the cheapest copy I can find. Currently checking Tesco online....

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 09:32

So when do you actually move in/start sleeping there? Tomorrow?

Tesco offering 2 for £7. Watching a couple on Ebay...

Berrie · 27/03/2009 09:37

Zeb... are a lot of you redudant or just a few?

Do you actually finish next week? What will you do all day?

EdwardCullensWife · 27/03/2009 10:03

More painting today. This time it's the inside of the front door, and the wood all around the stained glass panels surrounding it. Big job. I'm using Farrow and Ball Green Blue, which looks lovely so far. DP said my paint job in the hall was 'beautiful'
At the moment I'm taking a break to finish Eclipse. Reading chapter 20 [sigh] last night made my heart melt.

Berrie · 27/03/2009 10:27

It sounds really lovely Lyra!

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 12:56

I'm going to have to get dh to kill my favourite cockerel later today .
The younger one has blinded him in one eye. I've let him come into the caravan 'cos the other one is still trying to attack him.

Berrie · 27/03/2009 13:50

Oh dear, is he very pretty? What made him your favourite?

EdwardCullensWife · 27/03/2009 15:43

Sorry Oggs
I haven't done as much painting as I should have but it's getting there.
I'm going to an auction of promises tonight - going to have to be careful not to drink too much wine and spend the entire month's salary

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 17:47

He was one I'd incubated myself.
He started life in the front room and he and his sister lived inside until they were big enough to go out and fend for themselves.

RIP Charlie

It's not a good day chickenwise; another one of my favourites, Custard, went lame yesterday and couldn't hop into the house - dh had to lift her in.
Anyway, was going to assess whether she'd have to be for the chop, but she's gone missing this afternoon. Probably an easy target for Mr Fox.

Also our neighbour has lost one of his banty cockerels today too.

EdwardCullensWife · 27/03/2009 19:11

Good news Twilight fans - my brother's downloading the film as we speak. Copies to anyone who wants one (anyone who's read the book )

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 19:17

I'm going to try and get it at Tescos tomorrow Lyra. Honest.

Good news. Custard has been found. She's still lame but is alive.
Bad news. None of the chickens are using the brand new, spacious hen house that dh built and are all in the skanky old one

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 19:20

We watched Into the Wild last night. I really enjoyed it.

Hoo hoo! I've got another free trial with Lovefilm and my first 2 dvds arrived this afternoon .

Guess who we'll be watching tonight??

Berrie · 27/03/2009 19:26

Is it a copy of the dvd lyra?

I've downloaded one filmed in the cinema but it's not good enough quality to ruin the enjoyment of seeing it again.

I've started the last book. I see what you mean about it being odd!

Berrie · 27/03/2009 20:33

Good news about Custard!

oggspocket · 27/03/2009 21:07

Thanks Berrie . I'll have to see how she is tomorrow.

Off now to drink wine and watch 2 episodes of Doctor Who that I haven't seen before .

Have a good evening all.

Wonder what Lyra is bidding on?

EdwardCullensWife · 28/03/2009 10:41

Berrie, it gets odder and odder
Havent seen the quality of the film yet but should be better than the filmed in the cinema with camera phone type.
Bid on loads last night. Won a watch, bungee jump, Lush smellies and a week in France.

EdwardCullensWife · 28/03/2009 11:50

Oh, and a portrait of DSs in pencil, i think. The evening raised over £8,000 for the junior school playground.

Berrie · 28/03/2009 13:42

A week in France?

Berrie · 28/03/2009 13:43

Tee hee, it's better quality than a camera phone!

EdwardCullensWife · 28/03/2009 14:00

One of the mums offered her parents four-bedroom villa for a week. We're going to share it with another family.
