it's not the spare room the problem. that's been tidied up for the granmas etc. it's the ... front room that is our de facto storage! the gfood thing is that it works as a burglar deterrent - ir that is what I tell myself .

how old is your dd again sunflower? mine stayed with me till 5 months.

Morning - well I missed the confessions last night my musical confession is I went to Whams final concert !!!!
at the poo - dd1 does really smelly ones at the mo and minirosas don't bother me - but I think your own childs poo never does !
Penthe you are so brave 1st a bf/ff thread and then a MMr thread and you have done a SAHM one as well- I cower just thinking of attempting one.
We have the same problem with teh spare room / box room. Now we have more boxes on wardrobes, those flat plastic boxes under beds. And bigger boxes in corners than before ( all piled up). Laundry / Ironing in a Ikea basket that gets shoved anywhere. But DD has a bedroom of sorts with a bit of floor space. Ikea saved us for storage and I honestly want more storage units but not sure where to put them - it would mean moving the boxes. Also now minirosa is starting to grow out of stuff I am in a dilema !!! Oh for a house not a stingy flat a house with rooms and storage space - an attic or a roof. My own furniture ( all of it). Space for all of us and OH please a decent kitchen ...Whilst I am there 2 bathrooms too please !! DH coming home with mega man flu now - he had to drive with his head out of the boat as it was nebbia and he couldn't see so he says he thinks his head is going to fall off!

at wham concert (how was it?). I was also in love with george michael when I was 14

and lol at having to move the boxes for the storage units . We are living in 90 square metres at the moment, and I'd love to move to a bigger flat. I miss our house in Exeter. I don't think we'll ever find anything that lovely. Or maybe we could, but can't afford it

The concert was great- I remember I wore white t shirt with the huge writing on it and then multicoloured wristbands - my friend of course had the other ones on !
I just don't think we will ever be able to afford anything !!!! Our flat is 100m but it is so badly laid out and it is old - it needs new electrics, new everything. All our stuff is in here hence the boxes everywhere!

just got back as dd and I went for a pizza after - how civilised! the show was lovely. all our dc enjoyed it. dd was very excited on going there, going for a pizza like i grandi and being on a double decker bus (the last shows what a suburbian child she is ). Honestly she is the best company.

hope javier and sunflower had a good time. lovely to meet you sunflower, your son is beautiful and I suspect my dd was quite taken by him - this won't tell dh! [grin'

My ds said that your dd was very pretty. Ds was very tired and asked to go to bed at 630pm - was very quiet on the way home which must be a first. Lovely to meet you sunflower. Not around tonight, enjoy your chat!
By the way has anybody heard of Elena Ferrante, she sounds like a brilliant writer!

javier dd was well pleased of receiving a hug froom your ds. I'm sure they'll play really well next time, especially in the park. you must tell him that she's not a girly girl.

We had a great time too! was nice meeting you two and your beautiful DCs! DS has been talking about the "other itanian children, you know, the big boy and the little Pippi'sDDname" (as the "big" version is the one in his class - big as in taller and older)

and they both have amazing eyes! Really looking forward to a next meeting when we can have a proper chat and coffee!

javier - that hair might be beautiful, but oh boy he can scream the house down when we wash it... (somehow clean tap water is acid compared to salty sea water ). And your DS is "cool" according to DS (well, he is very surfing-cool-dude-like!

sunflower tell me something, so what do I do with this b*dy birth certificate? do I just send it to that place with a cheque or is there va form. shall I check a website?
If I do it quickly I'll try to get an apt at the consulate like you so we go together. It might be less tremendous no? have you got an apt already.
