Penthe, one of the last movies I see with my dvd rental was Sunset Boulevard. Fab! And I love All about Eve and Baby jane.
Also, if you fancy old ones, look for anything by George Cukor and Lubitsch.

yes george cukor def. watched lots of his during my uni years... franca you'd have loved my course.
sorry if I sound a bit slow but I was trying to watcxh grand design and pay attention to dh and MNing all at the same time.

Penthe: you must get whatever is available of Lubitsch. I recommend: Ninotcka, To be or not to be (remade by Mel Brooks), The shop around the corner (remade - hideously- with Tom Hanks and whatsherface)
