Anyone waiting on UAN contract, check your email!! Sarah is waiting for headed stationary to be delivered at the end of the week and will be sending them out after that!

tinkerbellechelle - hope you have a lovely holiday, I've never been to Lanzarote but been to the other Canaries and loved it - esp the weather, lol!!

melody - hope you hear back on the casting, that place always seems to be busy when we go there

steph - lucky you off to vegas - i love it there, i took a group of 40 people there and did a grand canyon trip - was superb! you are doing wise thing not taking the kiddies. me and dh normally do one holiday each away from kids each year. mine is a work educational and him normally golf or stag dos!

hopefully you guys will get your ua contracts through soon enough

have had a few weeks without castings now, at least kids got settled into school ok without any disruptions.

good luck to all waiting this week - roll on the straight jobs!

Hi, DS1 has a casting tomorrow and another on Thursday too. Tomorrow we are back to CAst In Space where we were only yesterday!

Anyone else going to one tomorrow? Or Thursday?

I did see KK at a casting last week actually now you mention it.

My DD now has a casting tomorrow too? Holborn Studios? Where's yours at Brooke?

hey everyone thanks for the little info about eurokids, think i'll carry on looking. dds have been offered on by dk, abstract and eurokids but want to make sure i get them in a decent one. Does UAN have a website can only find london one and says they arent taking on at minute, anybody help on how to contact UAN?

DS has his first casting tomorrow he's really chuffed it's really cute.

mummc2 uan doesn't have a website yet but you can contact ua london to know when they will open their books again. i think someone on another forum said they'll only take new kids next year but they're such lovely people I'd just send an e-mail, I'm sure they'll be happy to help.

Hi all, I know quite a few people have asked about BizzyKids.

My ds has been provisionally accepted by them but I'm not sure. I've heard they have so many models that there is not much chance of any work.

We already got stung by going with ModelsDirect- a scam- and we don't want to make the same mistake again! Also I'm reluctant to pay that much when I don't know how he'll repond at a casting/shoot. He's very sociable but as with all young children he can react very differently to how I would have expected him to IFYSWIM?

There aren't many agencies outside of London which is why I applied to BK.

What do you think?

Soph28, if you go on the ALBA site, you'll find a list of reputable agencies. I remember seeing a Glasgow based one on there.

soph28 -- i do see bk children at castings, saying that my daughter is with them - she had 2 castings when she initially joined (between 6 to 8 weeks of being on their books) and hasnt had anything else since (a year later). saying that she has had castings from her other agent as bk are non sole rep
they do get some good jobs, they have kids in junior mag etc like the other agents do.
the team are nice and friendly and the fee is a one off one till they are 16 or 17 i believe. all you need is 1 job in that time to get the outlay reimbursed. good luck in your decisions
