Mentioned in another thread, someone admitted to liking Tony Blair (you know who you are), and just wondered if there was any other non obvious people whom we have crushes on. I must admit to liking Quinten Willson, I am sure others will come to me later.

Batters - would that be Robbie Williams? I am convinced that he his gay. And always knew George Micheal was.

Tinker · 06/02/2003 18:47

It's funny, now you say Kevin Spacey is gay I can see it.

Used to fancy Slash from Guns'n'Roses!

aloha · 06/02/2003 19:06

A bloke gay never put me off having a crush. After all, if you look at, say, Liam Neeson or Rupert Everett I have the same chance with either of them gay or not - ie: zilch! I also have crushes on dead or nearly dead actors, such as David Niven & Gregory (swoon!) Peck. Not much chance there...

Tinker · 06/02/2003 19:14

I used to fancy Limahl!

megg · 06/02/2003 20:20

Tinker I would have changed my name for that confession. My friend used to fancy Howard Jones and I thought that was bad enough. I was always a John Taylor fan myself.

Chiccadum · 06/02/2003 20:23

I use to think that Cary Grant was gorge in his very early days and he was gay

Nutjob · 06/02/2003 20:24

Ooooooooooohhh, if we're talking 1980's teenages crushes here, mine was Curt Smith from Tears For Fears!!

jac34 · 06/02/2003 20:25

Tinker,
I'm with you, I used to fancy Limahl as well.
Also used to fancy Robert Redford, until I caught a glimps of his hairy back, in....Um ..that film with Demi Moor, where he offers her 1 million to sleep with him.

WideWebWitch · 06/02/2003 20:50

jac34, what about Robert Redford in Butch Cassidy though? Gorgeous. Agree, he wasn't attractive in ? was it indecent proposal, the Demi Moore one? Ugggh to Limahl and most of the others here!

soyabean · 06/02/2003 20:52

Paul Weller, Joe Strummer...70's teenager, me.

Chinchilla · 06/02/2003 22:10

Chiccadum...I ABSOLUTELY refuse to believe that Cary Grant was gay. No, it is NOT possible. He was married 5 times, and had numerous affairs (if I remember correctly). He is my ultimate drool icon, so leave him alone

Plus, he was supposed to have been hung like a donkey...sorry, I came over all funny then!

Nutjob · 06/02/2003 22:25

Been watching '24' on DVD (great series by the way) and have just discovered I quite fancy Keifer Sutherland. Don't know if that is weird or not?!

Cary Grant was married 8 times I think which kind of proves he was gay

Chinchilla · 07/02/2003 11:50

Nooooooooo CAM, please don't say that I absobloominlutely refuse to believe it. I'm putting my fingers in my ears la la la la...can't hear you la la la la

aloha · 07/02/2003 12:04

He used to live with Randoph Scott in a chi-chi little bungalow! I think it would probably be fairer to say he was bisexual. He also took LSD. But I still fancy him - or at least the idea of him. So beautifully dressed and suave and vaguely sinister. He once said he had X wives (don't know how many) and only one daughter, but if he could have his time again, he would have one wife and X daughers.

Chiccadum · 07/02/2003 12:10

I know it's not a weird crush but I like Richard Gere, but only in 'Pretty Woman', I just liked the way that he came across, I can't say what | think of him in 'An Officer and A Gentleman' as I have never seen it. Can anyone remember Robert Ulrich, I think he was in a programme called Vegas though I can be sure I was only about 7.

ghengis · 07/02/2003 15:10

Aloha, Liam Neeson isn't gay - is he?!!! Oh my God, is nothing sacred any more?

aloha · 07/02/2003 17:03

Oh, no, sorry, Liam's not gay. I meant to say that whether a star was heterosexual or gay I stood about the same chace of having a torrid affair with him. I mean, what with Liam being married to Natasha Richardson and living in America and all there's not much chance of my bumping into him in Sainsbury's and his being seduced by my unbrushed hair.

Mind you, dh is a bit Liam Neeson-esque if you squint a bit and the room is quite dimly lit

Chiccadum · 07/02/2003 17:32

My dh looks like Uncle Fester from the adams family, except he is 6'01", my eldest is definately turning into Wednesday

Marina · 07/02/2003 17:48

Aloha, a nation of women heaves a collective sigh of relief. Mind you, like others here I really don't care if Cary was bi or not. He was just sooo gorgeous, especially in North by North-West...

aloha · 07/02/2003 18:48

Chiccadum, are you Mrs Simon Howard? Only that's exactly how he described himself...

Chiccadum · 07/02/2003 18:54

You mean there is another Uncle Fester, i love big bald men (big as in girth and height I mean) could be worse I suppose I could be married to Lurch or him out of the Munsters

Chinchilla · 07/02/2003 19:39

Cary Grant in 'The Philadelphia Story'...mmmmmm. Oh, and 'Charade' is my favourite, as it also has my favourite actress, Audrey Hepburn. So I can drool at Cary, and aspire to be like Audrey.

tomps · 07/02/2003 20:34

Johnny Vegas. Beer and curry for starters. Johnny Vegas for dessert ! phwoar
