Mentioned in another thread, someone admitted to liking Tony Blair (you know who you are), and just wondered if there was any other non obvious people whom we have crushes on. I must admit to liking Quinten Willson, I am sure others will come to me later.

Oh and Star and Frieda - I agree about Michael Palin - Star, I spoke to him once briefly IN the National Gallery, when I was working there - he was very friendly and pleasant.

bundle · 29/01/2003 18:17

Alan Hansen was my first love, when I was 14 and he'd just transferred to Liverpool. Sigh.

jac34 · 29/01/2003 18:23

Anyone seen the new Fray Bentos ad, some very sexy men on there, I do like a well built man !!!

My mum used to fancy him Breeze, and in fact dragged me to see him in concert when I was a teenager to keep her company(oh the shame!). I did draw the line at waiting around the stage door for him afterwards though!

Nutjob · 29/01/2003 20:29

I think I admitted on 'The Soprano's' thread that I fancied Tony, weird no?! I also had strange stirrings towards Dr Meyer in Holby City, not that IS weird!!

OK - do I have to admit this............?
I think IAN HISLOP is remarkably attractive in a clever, witty, short roly poly way - such a cheeky boyish smile. Not sure its a crush as such, but I'd love to sit next to him at a dinner party.....

star · 29/01/2003 21:42

Freida he just has to be-SOMEBODY famous must be??
I've read interviews that's all,bet he's a charming flirt though.Genia, maybe it was the same day I saw him?He didn't laugh about a stupid girl who slipped over did he?

Clarinet60 · 29/01/2003 21:43

Ian Hislop? Strewth!

Mine are Tony Blair, Ben Elton and David Baddiel.
I can see an ambulance pulling up outside.

MandyD · 29/01/2003 21:56

Well, I start off normal: Martin Shaw (POST Professionals!) but then I get weird - Will Self!! Mentioned that before on another thread and somebody screamed in horror. But I just do think he's lovely. I do. So there LOL!!

IDismyname · 29/01/2003 22:07

Bill Bailey is just SOOOOO YUKKY! Makes my toes curl.

My vote?
Richard E Grant (he can dress up as the Scarlet Pimpernel and rescue me ANY day)

I wouldn't mind sitting next to Jeremy Clarkson at a dinner. I think he'd be a good laugh - and he smokes, too - I like a comrade to be anti social with.

mears · 29/01/2003 22:16

I find myself drawn to Shane Ritchie in Eastenders. He is looking awfully attractive. Anyone else remember him when he was chubby?

genia · 29/01/2003 23:05

Star
no he didn't laugh about a girl slipping over - is that what happened to you when you saw him? I was temping at the gallery for the education department and was sitting outside the conference room waiting for latecomers to the event being hosted in it. There was only me sitting at this table and Michael Palin walked into the area. I really surprised myself by trying really hard to meet his eye. At first he ignored me but as he walked past he stopped and asked if I was canvassing for the American election (it was at the time of the George Bush / Dan Quayle fiasco) - he had a very friendly manner...

Nattie · 29/01/2003 23:37

Is my selection weird enough? I fell in love with Michael Keeton when he was Beetlejuice in 'Beetlejuice'!, Warren Clarke (Dalziel in 'Dalziel & Pascoe), Jeff Goldblum, Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Michael Palin - I do like men who make me laugh. Oh, and I've just fallen for Spike in 'Buffy'; I don't tend to go for 'toned' men but he was naked in the last episode.......

bunny2 · 30/01/2003 11:43

Mears, Im with you on Shane (how I wish I was on Shane right now) - he is soo sexy. And Ricky Gervais - not sure why but I am definately attracted to him. I cant stand Tony Blair but in a horrid kinky way I think I would probably sleep with him, must be the power thing, I also quite like William Hague.

bunny2 · 30/01/2003 11:43

Cant believe I admitted to William Hague.

Bobbins · 30/01/2003 12:20

Chris Morris, from Brass Eye and The Day Today, even with the bad skin

nettie · 30/01/2003 13:11

Agree with Michael Palin - lovely ! Will admit to being drawn to Simon cowell, but still carry a torch from my younger days - Scott Tracy from Thunderbirds(yes I know he's only a puppet!)

CAM · 30/01/2003 13:36

Petr Gordeno when I was about 9 (WHY????)
EmmaTMG you didn't see Pulp Fiction, then?

EmmaTMG · 30/01/2003 13:39

OH,I did but that shiny, greased hair ruined it...he was also abit too large in that for me.
Give me the Danny Zucco travolta anyday. Maybe I'm clutching to my youth abit to much though!

lou33 · 30/01/2003 14:05

Well Emma you just can't be a true travolta fan then, I'd have him any size any where !

happydays · 30/01/2003 16:47

angus deayton, i thought was alright too.

Mommymommy · 30/01/2003 17:08

Has anyone seen that ad for Lacoste aftershave, he's not weird but definatley fanciable and that bum is just like a peach, perfect. I'm also with the other ladies about Shane Ritchie, there is something about that cheekie charm

Carla · 30/01/2003 17:18

Sir David Attenborough - saw him in my teens in a pub in South Kensington once, browsing through an auction catalogue. Just melted at the sight of him and have done ever since! Something ageless about him .... well, almost!
