I have just seen this mornings headlines. Is this true about Zoe and Norm? Does anyone know if there is a grain of truth in there?

How old is Woody? 2ish?

This is really sad for the little boy.

Mumsnet Zoe, nah, she wouldn't be here. Feel free to slag, please. BTW, you aren't THE Zoe are you???

Chinchilla · 28/01/2003 22:42

Ooh, Jude is LOVVERLY (sorry, letchy moment there.) It just goes to show that you can't believe all the 'Hello' crap of 'Oh yes, Sadie/Zoe/(add celebrity name) is my rock. I just lurve her soooo much.'

breeze · 29/01/2003 06:44

Since that Paul Burrell story came out, i always snigger when i hear the phrase 'my rock',

joben · 29/01/2003 07:49

Well, according to LBC radio last night Zoe has been having an affair with another DJ (Dan somebody)so no sympathy for her I am afraid. I think Norm may have admitted this to the papers allegedly. I sometimes think the way celebrities are idolated in this country makes them see themselves as supreme beings who can justify their behavior however horrid it is. Poor Woody. What kind of mother would risk upsetting her child for a momentary thrill. Keep your bloody knickers on!

lou33 · 29/01/2003 11:50

I think he looks like the bloke in big brother who got a bj from jade.

Zoe · 29/01/2003 13:12

aloha, no definitely not Zoe Ball, although my sister married a Ball, so if I'd've seen him first I could've been...

prufrock · 29/01/2003 16:58

Back off Sadie. She may not be doing much professionally at the moment, but she is bringing up 3 - or is it 4 kids, whilst hubby is busy being a star. Why is that seen as being any less important than being a great actor? If anybody criticised a non celeb mother for taking a career break we'd all be up in arms about it. I think your all just jealous of her cos Jude's so gorgeous

Chinchilla · 29/01/2003 18:36

I'm definitely jealous of her, and not ashamed to admit it! (She can't act though, sorry!)

bundle · 29/01/2003 18:40

no I'm not jealous of her either (apart from the pad in St John's Wood)..she's probably been doing a fab job as a SAHM, but her acting is seriously mediocre. Saw him in Dr Faustus at the Old Vic last year and he wasn't bad (she said grudgingly )

aloha · 29/01/2003 19:20

I have my sources for the view that Sadie is not a very nice person (pain in the a) is the exact phrase used by my friend who worked with her, not to mention very up her own a, by sheer coincidence! She absolutely loves being a celebrity but let's face it, she's totally talentless. She's all 'I don't want to be known for being someone's wife' but let's face it, she'd hardly be anyone otherwise... Ooh, I do find her annoying. I've seen him down the pub (when I worked in Soho) and he is unbelievably good-looking. Ooh, I do like a nice cathartic bitch...

breeze · 29/01/2003 19:41

Didn't she used to be married to Martin Kemp's brother.

lou33 · 29/01/2003 19:45

Yes, and they have a child together.

Going back to Zoe Ball, is she turning into the new Patsy Kensit do you think? Marry/date someone up and coming until the next up and coming thing arrives?

leese · 29/01/2003 19:53

Isn't that funny aloha - my friend went to school with Sadie Frost and said exactly the same!

CAM · 30/01/2003 13:40

I've always thought that if Jude law was a serial shagger it would be for the boys

Marina · 30/01/2003 14:08

Tigermoth has just posted on the PND thread to say that Sadie F is reportedly in hospital with severe PND after the birth of her fourth baby. I still think she cannot act for toffee but I hope she is getting all the support and help she needs.

Scatterbrain · 30/01/2003 14:20

Perhaps Sadie read this thtread !!

aloha · 30/01/2003 15:39

I think it's being friends with Kate Moss that's done for her. Everyone she's friends with get divorced and is miserable!

Moomin · 30/01/2003 21:49

I read the same about Sadie Frost (PND) and I do sympathise. I've always thought she was OK. Don't say it's true about Jude being a shagmonster!?! Is there anyone in Celebsville who's not living a complete sham of a marriage?

As far as ZB goes, I've never had any time for her since she started whingeing about having to get up to do her radio show, gave it up to have kids then whinged about that, hired a nanny to do days with Woody as well as 6 nights out of 7 (she admitted it in an old interview in heat), then it seems she's been having it away behind Norm's back! I think the quote was "I left my husband in December and my friendship with Dan developed since then." It's only bloody January now!

She always strikes me as being very needy and high maintenance whilst parading as one of the lads. I'm not exactly sympathetic but I do know her mum walked out when she was 2, leaving her dad to do the rearing. Any parent abandoning a small child must affect it, but esp a mum. Again, I've no time for her but I do think this might have affected her attitude to family and home-life. My sister-in-law's mum left the family home when she was 10 to work abroad and it's definately affected my sil (ie she's a complete pain in the arse). Poor Woody Is she going to have custody, does anyone know?

prufrock · 02/02/2003 10:12

Ok so hich one of us is features editor at the Mail? This is the second time that something being discussed on Mumsnet appears in the paper soon after. Who are you?
The Mail had a spread yesterday on longlasting marriages. Ones that have worked for more tahn 20 years are
Bruce Forsyth and ex Miss world
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne
Ringo Starr & Barbara Bach
Mel& Robyn Gibson
Michael & Shakira Caine
Rolf & Alwen Harris
Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward
John & Mary Mills
Bob & Dolores Hope (Still going after 68 years!)

batey · 02/02/2003 13:09

Is Susan Sarandon still married to Tim Robbins??

aloha · 02/02/2003 13:46

They are still together, but not married - like Goldie Hawn & thingy. BTW did you see the item about Nicole Kidman and Jude Law having an affair? Not nice, Nicole. Or Jude come to that. Mind you, lots of rumours swirling about her and Ian Glen when the appeared in the Blue Room together in London, and his marriage to Susannah Harker collapsed soon after. A small child involved there too, I think.

breeze · 02/02/2003 13:53

Kurt Russell

WideWebWitch · 02/02/2003 14:02

Have heard rumours about Nicole and Ewan on Moulin Rouge too. He has 2 children doesn't he?

breeze · 02/02/2003 17:17

Didn't nicole also go with robbie williams?.

lou33 · 02/02/2003 17:21

Is this the same Nicole Kidman that the papers said was a lesbian and Tom Cruise was gay while they were married to each other?
