God, that's a bit heavy! Would depend for a start whether they seemed to be because they were worried/embarrassed about something or just taking the piss. But would certainly make me far more wary of them.

It would depend on the nature of the lies. I ave been at some sites where members have faked having kids and then their deaths or serious illnesses and that is jsut plain sick online or in RL if you ask me. If they were faking they had a lifestyle they did not to keep up with the Joneses I would probably let it pass tbh.

Does he know where you live? Sorry, sounds a bit melodramatic but if you did grass him up, or just stop talking/mailing etc...
