at Zeb in bed!

No eggs for a few weeks they are only 15 weeks old.

I'm not going to rush to get hold of that film Oggs, you thought that other one was really good! Too much oggsling I think.

Zebedeedoodah · 31/03/2008 09:10

I wish that was me in bed, shoes or no shoes . Chance'd be a fine thing. (And I haven't wet the bed since my waters broke, thanks!!!!)

Oggs, I can't believe you went to bed before the end of the Presitge, or had you got it all figured out and didn't need to watch it? A very good, very dark ending I thought.

Berrie · 31/03/2008 10:22

Morning all.
I had a lovely weekend. We got the hens, tidied the garden and dug a veg bed on the allotment (fingers crossed for back as twas rather foolish)
I need to find a cheap supplier of straw though I read somewhere not to use field straw because of mites...

LyraSilvertongue · 31/03/2008 10:42

Zeb, it was Oggs' DH who went to bed. She watched it twice.

Zebedeedoodah · 31/03/2008 10:49

Doh! Although I have to say, movies with Hugh are best watched alone for the greatest enjoyment.

Berrie · 31/03/2008 11:25

So much for my nice weekend....the dc are driving me MAAAAAAAAAAAAD!
Was trying to carry on with our outdoorsy stuff but have ripped open my finger on the chicken run door which has swelled after the rain (not dc fault) dd emptied all the pellets out of the feeder though I told her to leave them alone countless times. Then they got all whingy and both of them were crying relentlessly so we've come in and cbeebies is on....great.

Berrie · 31/03/2008 11:41

Oggs...DB says it is fine for us to stay at his.

Oh yes...hens names,

DS - Red Pecker
DD - Metal Petal (she's grey)
DH - Pecker the Great
Me - Snowbell (since it was named Snowy in my absense so I had to claw something back)
Spare - Bluebell / Peckatron 500 depending on who you ask.

Zebedeedoodah · 31/03/2008 11:42

Poor Berrie. Thank God for Beebies eh? Although the sods moved Lazytown to start at 7.30 instead of 7am this morning. I practically had to drag DS kicking and screaming to the car before the end.

Anyway...how's the finger? I think some medicinal homebrew wouldn't go amiss, it is nearly noon.

Berrie · 31/03/2008 11:55

No homebrew left not bottled anyway!
Finget has stopped throbbing. Kids are quiet. Do you want a copy of the Lazytown cd? Tee Hee...(Berrie grins wickedly)

Zebedeedoodah · 31/03/2008 14:57

Are the little darlings still quiet Berrie or have you given up and stuck a straw in one of the demijohns? And thanks but no thanks on the Lazytown offer.

oggsfrog · 31/03/2008 15:23

Noticing a somewhat 'peckerish' theme to the names ds and dh have come up with. Betting that 'Peckatron 500' is the boys' suggestion too
D'oh Zeb. It was dh that went to bed early. It was a great ending wasn't it? Will try to get the book from the library.
Hope your finget is okay Berrie . When did you last have a tetanus jab?

LyraSilvertongue · 31/03/2008 21:59

Where's Binkle? i wanna hear more about NY. Where did you go and where did you eat? Somewhere posh, I bet.

OP posts:
Berrie · 01/04/2008 07:36

Good thought about the tetanus Oggs. I've no idea actually. When I was a teenager I wanted to get tetanus. When I then developed lockjaw so that I couldn't eat I was going to ask the kind nurse to just feed me 400 calories a day!

I dreamed aout Oggs last night. She turned up on my doorstep to talk about arrangements for the next meet up. She wouldn't come in and dd and a man were sitting on the drive in a car. She said that she would come in to brush her teeth after her drive down. I wanted to meet dd and dh. Dd was tiny for her age and then a big old man got out of the car and it was Oggs Dad. He was lovely and said he'd love to come in for a cup of tea. The house was unfortunatly a real tip and all my own family were for some reason there. We stepped over all the mess to get to the kitchen and the garden was full of foxes after my hens! Well that was a bit of a nightmare and I woke up. When I came downstairs pat of the dream was true...the house was a tip.

Zebedeedoodah · 01/04/2008 09:34

Berrie, you need help

Berrie · 01/04/2008 09:58

Tis very true!

binkleandflip · 01/04/2008 10:43

Morning!!

I'm ill today woke up with a really sore throat and earache and my eyes are all blurry - I'm pathetic when I'm ill!!

Hows the chickens doing Berrie?

Lyra, we ate at an asian fusion place called Tao on the first night (very nice) and then a steaky place the next night called Bar Americain (also very nice) and then at Carmines on the last night. Has anyone been there? They give you family portions to share between you and it alls comes on a big platter. I ordered lamb cutlets and 15 came on the plate

I dont think they were posh places but they were certainly popular - everywhere we went was packed.

I'm going to see Fiddler on the Roof tonight - cant wait!!

binkleandflip · 01/04/2008 10:43

By the way are we still doing weigh in on a tuesday . Because I dont want to....

Zebedeedoodah · 01/04/2008 11:03

I inadvertantly weighed myself on Friday.
I've now bought one of those stepper thingies and a ball thingy so I can exercise at home when I'm too idle to go to the gym. Desperate times, desperate measures.

binkleandflip · 01/04/2008 11:14

Are you still seeing the trainer Zeb? My personal training funding was revoked by dh at weekend after we had a row We had a mix up both thinking the other was going to a particular session so the session was wasted so I got an earful about wasting money and he declared that he would only pay for himself from now on and I couldnt go - I emailed them immediately to tell them my dh was a git and had decided thus - much to his embarrassment!!

Anyway he said I shouldnt have sent the email, that I knew what he was like and that I should have just ignored him (like usual lol) but now I've spited myself out of my sessions because they have been re-allocated

I'm hoping that when I get in the salon next month the weight will fall off anyway because I'll be up on my feet all day.

Zebedeedoodah · 01/04/2008 11:50

Yep, your DH is a git! I do still have my trainer - I'm seeing her on Friday. Basically it all went to pot over the last couple of weeks with easter and so on, but I'm now trying to really get myself going. I should have seen her on Friday but I had to go to a meeting - which is why I've got the stuff at home too now. Watching Hugh movies whilst doing my stuff is quite incentivising you know.

Berrie · 01/04/2008 12:35

Ah...the buy myself some exercise equipment to make me thin one...

Zebedeedoodah · 01/04/2008 12:49

cynic. I've used them TWICE!

Berrie · 01/04/2008 14:53

My trampette got LOADS of use...by the children. The stepper got LOADS of use....from my mothers Ex. I have been the proud owner of TWO exercise bikes...no-one got much use from either of them.

I once bought an exercise DVD. It was rubbish and did not work AT ALL! Can't tell you why, I did not even watch it.

Zebedeedoodah · 01/04/2008 16:47
Grin
LyraSilvertongue · 01/04/2008 18:12

I bought an exercise bike once. It turne out to be a very expensive clothes horse.
I do have a mini stepper which i use occasionally when I remember.
