I tried BottleBin, but he's being a bit dull about it all. So it's a night in with something fizzy, then I'll do a nice dinner and bake a cake tomorrow with DS to help.
And everyone I work with seems to think I'm still only 36

BottlebinBerrie · 25/04/2008 15:30

Ah, my dh is the same, doesn't want any fuss. Is all well between you now?

BottlebinBerrie · 25/04/2008 15:52

Woo hoo... Red Pecker is in the house and has ben for a while. She was making an egg laying noise at lunchtime so here's hoping for 2 eggs a day from now on! Lordy, there might even be enough for one each for breakfast!

Zebedeedoodah · 25/04/2008 16:29

An eggsplosion of eggs eh? Sorry, couldn't resist.

And yes, we're more or less ok again, thanks. I think the CD of Status Quo's greatest hits () should do the trick.

BottlebinBerrie · 25/04/2008 17:50

3 further eggs this afternoon!

LyraSilvertongue · 26/04/2008 13:52

LyraSilvertongue · 26/04/2008 14:24

What are you doing today Berrie? I'm on a double shift while it's gloriously sunny and warm outside.

Hellooo!
Went to watch Dh fly his new plane this morning. left him there to g and buy SIL a plant or two for her birthday. Was very restrained and only bought myself 6 purple sprouting broccoli plants at 15p each. Called on a friend who was upset as the day before while the family were watching TV, someone walked into their house, took her keys and knicked her brand new car.
Mucked out the chickens after lunch and then made some lemon curd tarts with dc (cheated with ready rolled pastry) My brother and SIL came and then our friend Father Dave called in as he was about to do something at our local catholic church. He played a bit of football with ds while we talked babies and nappy bags with DB and SIL who is 18 weeks pregnant with her first.
My Dad rang to say he was at the hospital with his Mum with a suspected heart attack btu it wasn't so she was having more tests.
They've all just gone. DH is snoring on the sofa and dc are eating their tea (running late today)
Next bath time and bed time then need to make a decision on whether we are drinking tonight or not....
Anything exciting going on news wise today?

LyraSilvertongue · 26/04/2008 19:06

Sounds like a budy day!
Nothing going on apart from Amy Winehouse, rabid dogs and Grangemouth. Dull, dul,, dull.

Morning!
What's on today?

oggsfrog · 27/04/2008 09:30

What did you do last night Berrie? I had a bottle of wine and watched The Bourne Ultimatum with dh.

BottlebinBerrie · 27/04/2008 13:14

...

oggsfrog · 27/04/2008 13:41

Lots?
You've no need to feel though. You did brilliantly all week. How many days was it you did without?

BottlebinBerrie · 27/04/2008 14:30

A bottle of wine...each.
Did 5 days without. Back on the wagon again. The first 3 swallows were great...all the rest were not actually enjoyable.

BottlebinBerrie · 28/04/2008 07:19

Morning all. Today I pledge that not only will I remain alcohol free, I shall also try to quell my cake/chocolate compensatory binges!
How are we all today?
Zeb, how did dh's 40th go?
Binkle, now you are a tycoon, have you abandoned little old us?

oggsfrog · 28/04/2008 07:21

Good morning
Off to buy something to rid the poor ponies of lice this morning. Pff. It's a bloody glamorous life I lead isn't it?

BottlebinBerrie · 28/04/2008 07:48

Sounds good Oggs. Have fun with that. Get me some straw while you 're out or the hens will be laying on poo all week...

Zebedeedoodah · 28/04/2008 10:40

Morning all. Can you get me some straw while you're at it?

BottlebinBerrie · 28/04/2008 10:58

Oooo aaar the lot of us!

Zebedeedoodah · 28/04/2008 11:14

Make mine a pint of Shires

oggsfrog · 28/04/2008 12:12

£43 . It's a bugger. There is none of this type of stuff licensed for use on horses so I have to buy the one for cows and sheep . The smallest one they make is 250ml and that will give me about 25 applications.
So... sorry, no money left for straw or Shires

Primrose isn't coming out of the hen house.... chicks on the way. Trouble is have no idea how long she's been sitting.
She's been coming out 1st thing when I let them out, but is going straight back in and I only noticed yesterday when I went to add more straw to the house.
Will have to sort out the ark and try and get her and the eggs moved in there.

BottlebinBerrie · 28/04/2008 13:54

I put an answer to that Oggs and it's not there!
Not typing it again
