SpacecadetOnADiet · 02/01/2008 22:29

£294 she has just spent

expatinscotland · 02/01/2008 22:29

You know the gal working in Harrod's is still pissing herself that this chick went and dropped £300 on clothes for a doll.

wasting money????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say I have no problem with my DD's sick all over things. Blimey. I can't believe that woman wants to keep baby things pristine!

My DD may be almost 3 but I like the mess on her stuff!

Well that's just confirmed it for me - only people seriously off their trolley would spend that sort of money on a baby outfit

talktothebees · 02/01/2008 22:30

I can;t believe I went to all the trouble of making a real baby.

Ledodgy · 02/01/2008 22:30

*leopard

Twiglett · 02/01/2008 22:30

wasted on a real child

hippipotami · 02/01/2008 22:31

White pram woman is definately a bit tacky and not quite right in the head. 'buying clothes for a doll is money well spent whereas buying clothes for a real baby is a waste'??

currantbunmum · 02/01/2008 22:31

Just feel sorry for the couple who lost Harry, makes me want to cry.

SpacecadetOnADiet · 02/01/2008 22:32

he was her grandchild

expatinscotland · 02/01/2008 22:32

What a beautiful, beautiful little boy.

Verso · 02/01/2008 22:32

nooo - not the disembodied heads!!!

currantbunmum · 02/01/2008 22:32

Is her daughter still alive?

Bewilderbeast · 02/01/2008 22:33

This is so awful. What on earth happened to make a granny need a baby-doll to remind her of her grandson, I feel so so sorry for her

Aitch · 02/01/2008 22:33

what was the mum doing while she was looking after her grandchild? i missed that bit. do you think she maybe just took him back and the programme is suckering us?

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 02/01/2008 22:33

Yeah, I think this is the darker side of the whole business. Bit creepy.

What a shame they're showing this instead of the artistic side of it, the process etc

I'm confused has Harry died? is her daughter alive?

nortynamechanger · 02/01/2008 22:33

I discovered these a while back when I put 'special needs' in the search box on Ebay, looking for some bits for my DS.

There was someone who specialised in 'reborning' (dear god, that can't be in Collins, can it?) special needs dolls.

She had a whole NICU/SCBU of 'reborned' dolls with Downs Syndrome etc

The whole concept of them is odd, each to their own and all that.
