OP posts:
Bewilderbeast · 02/01/2008 22:33

the mum had cancer

Verso · 02/01/2008 22:33

this makes me v v v sad. She is a good saleswoman, but who ever sold me my baby? No one ever 'chose' me her weight or her birthmarks or her hair...

whoops · 02/01/2008 22:33

The Mum had cancer while the little boy was with the Grandparents

expatinscotland · 02/01/2008 22:34

she was looking after him because her daughter had cancer.

but they haven't said what exactly happened to both the daughter and her grandson.

wheresthehamster · 02/01/2008 22:34

The daughter had cancer so you presume she's died

Twiglett · 02/01/2008 22:34

has she said that Harry died yet .. I got she was looking after him because her daughter had cancer .. but has he died?

Ledodgy · 02/01/2008 22:34

I reckon Harry is still alive and the program is doing this on purpose.

Verso · 02/01/2008 22:34

but even if the mum had cancer this can't be right, surely? My sister had cancer and died but this never was a part of it!

MerryPIFFLEmas · 02/01/2008 22:34

there are some eggs and sperm mightily relieved in the world. Am deep sad for the other lady, her husbandspeaks volumes by what he does not say. Oh am caught between judgements indeed

Heathcliffscathy · 02/01/2008 22:35

oh my god

sazzybeehomeforxmas · 02/01/2008 22:35

But it's weird because presuming Harry has died, he was a boy, not a baby. And if my baby died and my mum bought a fake baby, I'd have a real problem with it. She needs help

BalletMum · 02/01/2008 22:35

Daughter had cancer but we don't know yet if she and/or Harry are still alive........

Verso · 02/01/2008 22:36

ooh you lot are sharp. I have had too much christmas sherry Of course! They will now wheel out the surviving relative...

bethoo · 02/01/2008 22:36

i think harrys granny was a bit disappointed when she saw the girl about getting her fakey donw as i think she thought that the woman would make it from scratch and instead she pulls out a head from a bag caliming they look similar, well i could not see it! for one, one was a real baby

hippipotami · 02/01/2008 22:37

As we have just seen a picture of Harry in his school uniform (and he was born 02 according to the back of the photo) he would be in reception now, so very much alive when the programme was made.
So I think that his mum got better, and moved away to start afresh, taking Harry with her. Nice lady has gone from practically being a mum to being a long-distance granny and is struggeling to cope.

I think.

MUMOFDJandP · 02/01/2008 22:37

I have just switched on what is this all about she isnt going to push this baby in a pram is she

she will freak people out

08aGreatYearForCarmenere · 02/01/2008 22:37

How fucking weird would it be if your ex-mil had a doll of your baby made, that is presuming that harry is living with his dad in oz.

BalletMum · 02/01/2008 22:37

I think this is all too weird. Have just looked at dolls on ebay (not to buy one!!!!) they are £200-350 or so!!! OMG....

expatinscotland · 02/01/2008 22:38

£294 on tacky gear for the doll.

that's what's going to stick in my mind!

can you imagine if she got stopped by immigration on her entrance to the US.

'ma'm, can you explain the nature of your visit?'

'yes, it's to collect my fake baby doll.'

'm-kay.' (WEIRDO!)

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 02/01/2008 22:38

I'm assuming she's having this doll made for herself, not for her daughter if she's still alive.

sazzybeehomeforxmas · 02/01/2008 22:38

she has already been pushing her doll about in a pram.

MUMOFDJandP · 02/01/2008 22:38

i think Harrys granny was disappointed too how much exactly will this baby cost her???

why does she want harry back to being a baby??

Verso · 02/01/2008 22:39

hippi - you are a genius. Are you working for MI5, or possibly glamorously interloping in Spooks?

hippipotami · 02/01/2008 22:39

I wish I was talented enough to make these dolls. I could indulge in my wish to hold one, but hide behind the artist excuse, and sell them on eBay so make dh happy that at last I am earning some money!

Please tell me NiceLady is not going to buy a pram and push baby Harry????
