Has anyone noticed the bulling going on here?

It seems there are some people who don't have anything better to do. There is some nasty bullying on this site, by a certain group of individuals. They stick together like glue and make idiotic and rude remarks. I am disgusted by these people and quite frankly, have had enough.

They must have so very big issures if they can insult people like they do and not realise that its hurtful and very respectful to others.

I've been posting on here for nearly 4yrs now......and I still get ignored, and lambasted, and have people "ganging" up on me, and I p*ss people off etc etc - I certainly wouldn't call it bullying though.....just life really

I don't think there's anything near bullying on mn. I think there a bunch of very quick-thinking-typing women who will tell you are talking out of your arse and explain the colour and texture of the shit you are putting forward as an argument. But, I think that's rather good really, and I always describe mners as a whole as intelligent, witty, well-balanced individuals.

That said, in keeping with this thread I'll just add - bollocks and arses to all of you

Not seen any individual person on person bullying, have seen one instance of very nasty behaviour on a subject that some didn't want spoken about

I have seen a very few people (usually the same ones), come onto a thread just to be rude and taunt the OP, they then get laughs because of who they are. That could be seen as mild bullying behaviour

I do think there is a bit of a 'new versus known posters', if there wasn't, why would namechangers need to clarify they are a namechanger in their opening post (and that happens a lot) Their is sometimes hostility to new names on some subjects

In the main, it's good you can e yourself and say things you might not get a chance to say in realife on certain subjects and the support here is fantastic

Posting far too late on this as usual but I think the fact that this subject comes up so regularly indicates that there is SOME truth to the OP. "Bullying" is far too strong a word but some people are unecessarily rude. I'm not remotely bothered about being ignored or disagreed with. But I do object to unnecessary nastiness.

OrmOrian has already summed this up brilliantly.

People come on here because they are mothers ie often tired, isolated, depressed, anxious and going through huge life changes and some posters can be insensitive to that.

Not keen on hugs and fluffy kittens either but it's great to be able to settle a niggling worry that you think is too trivial to discuss in rl. You always have the option of ignoring what you consider to be trivial threads. What seems trivial to one person may be a real worry to another. All mothers obsess about one thing or another.

Having said all that, the support and advice you can get on here is terrific and far outweighs any negative points.

not everyone comes on because they are mothers tho..i come on because it is fun and a laugh and sociable thing to do
