I feel really ignorant...

its an instant messenger where you can chat live with people

sort of like a mini chat room where you can choose who's on it, like your friends

so glad you asked, I was feeling a little thick

but where does it happen (she says foolishly) - on some kind of website?

you download it from the msn website and it's stored onto your computer and you just sign in to it. it also tells you how many emails you have in your email account, ill find the link for you

You need to download the software onto your computer. It's a microsoft product and it comes free. See if i can show you...

I downloaded it last night, but feel like "Billy No Mates" cos I don't know anyone else who's got it so its just sat there!

Asked dh if I could test it with him, but he said he doesn't use it (far too busy apparently!!!)

my email address is sum41sbombette @ hotmail . com (but without the spaces in between) You click on add contacts and just add the email address in. Im not actually on msn at the moment though so wont be able to talk to anyone but usually on in the evening to chat
