What ahould i do? My friend id so lovely but everytime we go to sainsburys she always comes out with stuff she hasnt paid for, it wont be long till shes caught but the worst of it is that im always shopping with her, i dont want the security to get the wrong idea and think im doing it too, i just dont have the bottle!

Why is she doing it? Just tell her that you don't want to shop with her while she does it.

Its easy to say that but she does it because shes so skint, she lives on £50 a week for her and her son at the mo

Is she broke, or does it give her a thrill.

Can you help her to budget? To buy the cheapest things? Can she not shop at Aldi where it's cheaper? Point out to her that her son will be worse off if she is fined for breaking the law. Sorry but there are plenty of poor people out there who don't steal.

There are plenty of people in he shoes, but most of them dont steal, its called having morals and self respect. Has she checked with the CAB that she is claiming all benefits she is entitled to?

I don't know about here in the UK, but in the US if your pal pinches stuff and you're with them, you get lifted, too.

I wouldn't go shopping with her anymore.

I accidently stole a bottle of coke and a pack of baby wipes form waitrose today I put the bottle of coke under the pushchair as it wouldnt fit in my shopping basket and my son was screamong so i gave him a pack of babywipes as he loved pulling them out at home i thought it might keep hiim quiet trying to do this as htey were sealed tighly.I payed for my shopping but it wasnt till i got outside i noticed as i was trying to put my boguht shopping in the basket under the pushchair! woops

If she's that skint tell her Tesco and Lidl and Netto and Aldi are all cheaper than Sainsburys.
Sainsburys is one of the more expensive supermarkets so if she's that skint she shouldn't be shopping there.

What is being stolen is irrelevent, be it diamond rings or penny chews.

Im getting a bit pissed of being called a troll, i stole something by accident and so many people have admited of doing the same mistake which helped me not feel so bad. I want advice for my friend and when i stick up for her incertain ways im called a troll, i just feel sorry for her
