Have done the exercise thing for the first time since I was poorly. I’m quite tired now.

Didn't get round the Catch 22 last night, but did watch some Fleabag. Not finding the priest particularly hot atm, but he is bloody funny. I think my favourite bits are the sisters together - really well written & make me chuckle.

Fancy - ditto re. the Hot Priest.

I went back to bed with a HBF headache but it has gone now (I hope) so now I have to do HBFs stuff including washing and chickens and cooking and general domestic thrillz

The interaction the sisters is my favourite part too. Hot Priest is hot though.

Washing out & lawn mown - blimey it was warm out there. All very quite here, DD has gone out & DS is still in bed.

I was up early to catch the 50% off sale at a furniture shop nearby, I bought two vases and a mirror. Love me a bargain.

Evening wenches. We're back, it rained all the way home, but the weather has been lovely while we've been away.

We went out last night to the place with amazing chips, but the hip is no better today. I had a terrible night. When I sit down I can't get up again. I have to sort of slide onto my kees and crawl to something I can pull myself up on which is fine if an HBF happens to be in the vicinity.

Looks like it's pizza out of the freezer for tea, can't be bothered with anything else.

Yay for the return of HBI.

Might get round to Fleabag if nothing else is on tonight.

Ouch again re hip Apricot but HBFs are very helpful and always willing to lend a helping hand, which is course always reciprocated.

DH told me about that Helen. I was watching the tennis. It was a rather fab way to spend the afternoon in the company of Feliciano Lopez. Hopefully it’ll still be on the red button, or at least knocking about on the BBC website somewhere.

New series on ITV tonight - Beecham House - which looks worth a watch. I’m recording it as DH has paused Top Gear.

Lots of rain forecast today, what with it being summer.

Morning. DS has a fever so is off school - argh. He appeared in bed with me from 3:45 - 5am. He couldn't sleep, went back to his bed and was out for the count. He seems fine in himself to be honest, but he's definitely on the hot side of things. At least he's well enough for me to get on with work while he reads (or similar).

I think we're expected to miss the rain, but it's very warm out there and I did hear the word 'thunder' on the weather forecast - I just don't know what part of the country they were talking about.

What with DS not being at school, I haven't been out of the house (apart from chickens etc.) 5 minutes before video conference I realised I wasn't dressed and threw a t-shirt on and brushed my hair. I am still wearing PJ bottoms.

Do you think, when DS goes to high school and gets himself to and from the bus by himself, that I will ever get out of my PJs on my freelance days?

It appears to be raining. Still quite warm though.

Had a very vivid dream where we all overslept and only woke up at 9.38, so we were all late for work and school and DS1 had missed the bus for college.

Suppose I’d better get a move on so I’m not actually late for work.

Morning, rain overnight here and this morning, but dry now. DS still running a fever - soaked through his PJs last night - yeuch. Seems ok in himself though, just hot and cold and running a temperature (and not much appetite). There might be a hint of a rash and I'm wondering about the scarlet fever-type thing again - just because he had it before really.

So today is all about washing sweaty bedding and child-minding. And swatting flies. I am out of the PJs though - so that's progress

Liniment - yes - that what apricot needs. A good rub-down from HBFs and a gentle from wenches.

Afternoon. We had a short thunder storm last night, two flashes and claps and a downpour for about 10 minutes. I thought of Fancy.

I hate those dreams LetUs, you wake up exhausted.

I can't be bothered to go to the GP with my hip, you open a can of worms and get referred here and there. It'll sort itself out eventually.

So the Dr says that DS is 'ill' Yes. Not definitely anything in particular, but not very well. He's just started adding sniffly runny nose and watering eyes to the equation. Dooooooooooooooooooooooom.

It’s barely stopped raining all day but seems to be done for now. Have done a station pick up for my sister. Train was nearly 30 minutes late.
