Morning wenches. Feel absolutely fine this morning, but tired and sore feet (HBFs started foot rub but we got a bit distracted. Looking forward to breakfast.

So it’s back home, shopping, washing, homework, etc, then we’re out this afternoon as it LovelyMIL’s birthday.

Up at 7 for work, then out for some food shopping in sweltering heat, bought strawberries among other things. Now on the couch watching a documentary about a serial killer

Afternoon. Awful weather here, it's been raining for two days. I'll gladly swap your 28 degrees for our 13 WW. I've got the heating on.

We went out for a meal with SIL and BIL yesterday and I had to drive back down the motorway in torrential rain. Horrendous.

Why are you working on saturday wicked?

Been raining on and off all day here too, but I think it's a bit warmer than 13 degrees.

DH is in a grouch with me. I set DS off doing homework and then went outside to establish that my chicken coop still doesn't come with integral HBFs. In the meantime, DH 'helped' with homework by suggesting DS write about certain aspects of a particular country for his homework. Except the homework already specified topics for research, and they weren't the ones that DH told DS to write about. I mean, FFS, I know he was trying to help, but maybe he could read the homework brief before sending DS off down a dead end? I may have pointed this out to DH with a slight lack of tact-and-diplomacy.

Had a fab time this afternoon celebrating Big Birthday with LovelyMIL. Out for a meal for it tomorrow.

Oooh - Killing Eve! I didn't realise that was on normal TV - I thought Netflix had it first and we had to wait. (I have no idea why I thought that but I did. I think lots of things that may or may not be true. )

Just turned on to find the end of Fantastic Beasts is on TV... but I may not be awake for Killing Eve either.

We’ve got football on which is not helping with the snooziness. Suspect we might do Killing Eve tomorrow or Monday.

I still have Graham Norton from last night to watch. Andrew Scott was on so I’ll be watching that on my own.

Working extra Helen, always nice with some extra money. Getting a bit tired now though, didn't sleep that well last night cause of the heat.
