Today we will be doing more homework and some revision. Later I will be ironing. I’ll calm it down at some point

Anyway... Having made some breakfast for winging DS - who has then proceeded to carry on playing on x-box and completely ignore the breakfast that he demanded 5 minutes ago, I have played the trump card of "I'm very disappointed in you - you're better than this" and he's stropped off telling me to leave him alone. (and is eating his breakfast.)

Did Line of duty make sense though LetUs/Apricot? Is it all resolved?

Washing update - one load on the line, second batch in the machine, at least one more to go if DS wants clean clothes for school tomorrow.

Oh don't worry helen - payment is only due after duties are completed. So my purse remains unopened. Sadly as both DC have enough spending money atm, neither are motivated to do the cleaning. To be fair to DD, her GCSEs are looming so I can forgive her. DS is just being a lazy fucker.

I think it made sense Helen . What we’re going to do now is watch the first four series to properly confuse ourselves. Bearing in mind DH got mixed up when watching episodes from two different series of Shetland, it should be interesting.

Fancy I may have snorted at “my purse remains unopened” . That’s not what Aramis said this morning.

Line of Duty did make sense, sort of, and the lovely Ted was exonerated whilst getting a slap on the wrist for being an out of character prick this season. Now what does that remind me of? However, the big question was left unanswered for next time, after a very weird revelation.

It will make more sense if you watch the previous series LetUs, as they did refer back quite a bit, although I can't remember half of what happened.

Ohhh so Ted’s not always like that Apricot? That’s good news for us for the previous four series - which probably would have been better to watch before this one, but then again we’d only have got to series 5 by about Christmas 2020

Today has been a disaster. DS wanted me to take delivery of two parcels at his house (2 x 8 mile round trips) but when they texted I'd already missed the one and the time of the other clashed with me collecting DGS from school, so I've re-arranged the delivery for tomorrow but he's not happy with that. Can't do right for doing wrong.

Honestly, I don't have trouble with homework or them getting dressed or whatever, but the problems don't go away when they grow up.

Do I need to give your DS a Apricot? There is - unfortunately I must say - only one of you and you’ve got quite enough to do already.

It’s a bit like when someone at work with younger children says “does it get easier as they get older?” and I, because I’m an expert , just tell them “it just gets different”

I’ve done the exercise thing again and the rain held off again. My luck with the weather will only last so long, although that will just mean that when I get back I’ll be needing a towel....
