Yes, both parcels safely delivered. They contain drumming stuff. They're re-forming the band God help us. I'm definitely not hanging around clubs at 2 o'clock in the morning waiting for them to finish this time round.

Anyway, on the way back from the first delivery I went to visit the latest residents of the village up the road where the lovely walks are. So cute, they only hatched two days ago, although there were eight in the nest which is a bit worrying. I got drenched for my trouble as the skies opened on the way back to the car.

Parents’ evening went very well. They all think he’s lovely and quiet and tries very hard, but just needs to speak up a bit more and work on his confidence. We’ve had a chat when we got home about changing his attitude to his homework because it will make his work at school even better and his teachers even prouder. We shall see tomorrow night.

A prospectus has arrived for one of DS1’s university choices. I’ll take it upstairs in a bit so I can show it to him and he can shrug his shoulders and then ignore me

What he obviously needs to do Wicked is to grow a beard and that will make him look closer to his actual age of someone who’s old enough, as Helen said, to own his own place. And yes, try Star Wars for a conversation. Future conversations could include “I’m having a Star Wars themed party - your allocated costume is Kylo Ren complete with mask”

DH went somewhere on a golfing day. He'll be soaked. At least he will have eaten, so I don't have to cook.

I didn't put the washing out in the end... so the weather stayed dry all morning Typical.

I have worked out why I want a bath after I've been swimming - it's because I'm tired and want to chill out. And not come home to find that DH has been working late, yet again, and food isn't even started and please can I help with it. Though now I'm going to be working late as well, so...
