So, with DS's mega-late night (and mine)... he got into bed with me at 5:45 and asked when he could go downstairs Fortunately I got him to go back to sleep until 7:15. But I'm bloody knackered.

It's difficult to take a pic of the cabinet WW as the light reflects off the glass, but this is the middle bit of it. I've got 24 cups and saucers in all. The plates at the back are hand-painted and were MIL's.

Finished early today instead of tomorrow, which I shall regret when I’m still at work at 5pm on a Friday. Had intended to get through a long list of jobs when I got in. In reality, not so much.

Had a lovely lunch thanks. I was terrified I'd get a violent coughing turn, but my throat behaved itself.

Morning (just) Another shocking nights sleep from DS and thus for me. though then I got a lie in once he was plugged into the xbox, so not all bad.

The great house blitz has started

Oh dear Helen. But yay for lie in. I had to get up early as someone was coming at 9.00am to fetch one of the toys I'm selling for DS. She arrived at 10.30.

House blitz is underway here too. We have to get the insulation out of the chimney so we can have log fires. That's always fun, we're scared there will be a soot fall. I have to stand there with the Henry hoover while DH, complete with face mask and overalls, removes it.

Stressful day at work. Took a nap after I finished. Relaxing with and telly.

Evening. House-blitzing ground to a halt here because we went out to see Fantastic Beasts/Crimes of Johnny Depp. Oooooooooooooooh!!!! at the end. I liked
