Morning (just)
Having a lazy morning - will do a little more Christmas shopping later & then review lists. I was planning for a bit of a walk too, but it looks evilly cold out there, so I'm having to steel myself for that.

Fuck me, it’s miserable out there. Cold, raining and windy, which makes it even colder. Stay inside Fancy and keep warm under the HBFs.

Bought the remaining family cards and a few more presents. I think I’m nearly done. Just got to wrap it all which I’m going to forget about for now.

I want to walk to a shop nearby to get a present for FancyMan - saw it a few days ago, but we were in the shop together, so I couldn't get it then. Mind you it is sooooo windy out there. May take the car.......

Evening For some reason I volunteered to work today, only four hours but I had to get up early to do the foodshopping before work since it gets dark so early in the afternoon and i hate driving then. Also managed to post my Christmas cards. On the couch now and don't plan to move anytime soon.

Now I love DH, I really do, but he is doing my fucking head in this afternoon. Stop listing all the shops you went to and what you bought and then all the housework you’ve done. News flash I went shopping too with DS2 and I’ve done a ton of stuff in the house, but I don’t feel the need to regale you with my accomplishments. He’d better not try to watch the Strictly final with me because he’ll yap all the way through that and make comments even though he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Speaking of Strictly, I shall be ready and glammed up —not really—Apricot so us fellow judges can watch and decide who’s winning.

I shall be watching Strictly and judging better than the judges, but I'm a bit apprehensive as DGS is here again for the night as his Mum and Dad are going out and he doesn't go to bed early at the weekend. No, we are not going to watch Fireman Sam.

Well I got quite a bit done. Got rather soggy doing it, but am feeling pleased. And very glad to be back in the warm - both cats are snuggled up with me

Evening. It has been bloody baltic all day here and has just started raining too. yuck though at least the rain held off long enough for me to wrap up like Nanook of the North to do productive stuff in the garden. I feel I should apologise for the weather - was havign a discussion about freezing poitn and ice and rain yesterday with DS and was describing 'freezing rain' to him. Told him that it doesn't really happen here - really very rarely. Weather forecast this morning? Freezing Rain. "It's very unusual" says weather forecaster Tonight I shall talk about overnight rain, and bright sunny days with DS and see if that clears the bad weather out for us (whilst still topping up the water table for next year's long hot summer).

I have been busy wrapping pressies for a present-swap session tomorrow. I've been sitting on the floor and now my back aches. Please supply HBFs to provide massages... One I've written a card for a relative who I didn't send one to - and I've just received theirs. Sod's law and all that.
