Watched Strictly last night. I don't usually enjoy it for the first few weeks, but it was actually quite good, there are some excellent dancers although what did I say, poor Anton

So poor old DS and his cold - he coughed himself (and me) awake at 4am so needed anotehr batch of warm milk/honey and then crawled into bed and fell asleep with us. I managed to extricate myself without waking him, which is really unusual, and I will doubtless get it in the neck for letting him sleep in (so he won't have loads of time to play on his xbox before school) I also have a sore throat now, so apologies to all at Chateau Fancy, where I have doubtless been spreading germs

Am seriously considering getting back into bed once I've got him off to school. He IS going to school. It's just a cough.

It is chilly this morning - I can tell as after her breakfast, ScaredyCat snuggled under the duvet with me. FancyCat seems more herself this morning - clamouring for breakfast as normal.

DS went off to school, mostly without complaint. Then I went back with his homework which I had told him was in his bag - it wasn't, because he had several bits scattered round the house and I hadn't picked up all of it. Memo to self - let DS pick up all his own homework in future.

Now I am bored working.

Good that MiniHelen went to school. Not so great about the homework. Keep telling DS2 to put his homework with his bag when it’s done. Nope. Mind you, DS1 left his behind last week so I think I should just give up.

Afternoon. Lovely day here, I sat in the garden to catch a few of the last rays of summer. Bloody cold when the sun went in though.
