Sad Badders At least it's nice and sunny out (or it is here...)

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 08:11

Morning wenches.

It seems to be snowing at Badderz’s.

Hmm I’ve put the washing out but it’s a bit chilly and cloudy. I’m sure it’ll be fine. Not sure I care.

It’s only Wednesday isn’t it? Sigh.

No LetUs - it's the weekend

We have to stay in here.
Def.

Though sadly you're right, and I need to shift my backside...

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 08:24

And a very lovely backside it is too Helen

Nice try re barricading the hayloft

Right, better get everyone to get a move on here too.

Well. By 10:30am DH was plastered.Shock AIBU to be mildly irritated that I'm going to have to drive him everywhere for the next 3 weeks until the cast is taken off again?

We also have a multi-child playdate providing emergency childcare for a friend. I already had one coming over, then that turned into two, and then "Oh, just send them all over..." Confused I'll stick them in the garden and lock the door, I think. Seems like the best plan Grin I can chuck food out of a window for tea while they turn feral.

Now I need to crack on again... laters.

ApricotCrush · 18/04/2018 17:41

Evening. Well, summer did arrive at about 11 o'clock. I've spent a couple of hours gardening Halo and then sat in the sun this afternoon. Wonderful!

Oh that's annoying Bads, hope you haven't had a busy day.

Also hope Helen is coping with the playdate rather you than me. Poor MrH and you having to do all the driving. Sad

mrsreynolds · 18/04/2018 17:51

Busy?
(Hysterical laughter)
Well, I'm sitting down now but it's been pretty full on again 😣
Sigh.
Oh well.
Taking mum to the hospital tomorrow so that'll be fun 😩

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 19:21

Evening wenches.

Eeeek at multi child play date Helen! Hope it’s passing/has passed painlessly. Bit of a pain having to drive MrHelen around.

Sounds like you’ve had a lovely afternoon Apricot Smile

Full on at work not helped by stupid people who decide at gone 4pm that actually they need a bazillion documents printing and organising and putting in folders to get off in the post. Or those who can’t fold their own fucking post so bring it through at 4.40 and who look surprised when they are told afuckingain that the post is collected at 4.30 and just stand there saying “but it needs to go”.

Have put another wash on to finish in the morning as it’s supposed to be sunny again.

I'm watching "Victoria wood as seen on tv" which is now on Netflix!!
🤣🤣🤣

I'm tired for a change

Hoping dh steps up and sorts dc out tonight 😣

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 19:36

I’m watching Clueless. I turned over just in time for Tai to say to Cher “Why should I listen to you, anyway? You're a virgin who can't drive.” Grin

"We'd like to apologise to viewers in the north...it must be awful for them"

🤣🤣🤣

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 20:37

I do love Victoria Wood

I’m watching Top of the Shops with Tom Kerridge. This week it’s four cheesemakers competing against each other. I’m supposed to be making DS2 get in the shower and then go to bed.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 18/04/2018 20:51

Play date actually went remarkably painlessly - they rampaged in the garden all afternoon, followed by tea in the garden, followed by more rampaging before I shoveled them all off homewards. Sorted. DS is now trying to soak the dirt out of his knees. Grin

I have washing being darked on tonight because I couldn't be arsed with hanging it out in the morning.

We are watching Football. FFS.

LetUs Wine to help take the edge of dealing with idiots at work Sad HBFs would never be that bloody stupid and inconsiderate. When we rule the world.. etc etc

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 21:41

If I drank every time someone at work did something idiotic, I’d spend all my time flat on my back. And seeing as the HBFs still haven’t seen fit to turn up at my office, that’s just a waste of having to get up again.

A news alert has just flashed up saying that Dale Winton’s died. He was only 62 Sad

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 21:42

I’ll still have the Wine though Helen thank you Grin

OP posts:
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 18/04/2018 22:09

We have watched Cunk Grin and now I'm off to bed...

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 22:15

Will do Cunk tomorrow with DS1

Am watching Tutankhamen. Max Irons is in it. Nice.

Is Wicked back under Kylo’s cloak?

Evening - bloody spring arriving on a work day! It looked gorgeous out there....

I saw that about Dale Winton too letus, such a shame - I have fond memories of Supermarket Sweep.

LetUsPrey · 18/04/2018 23:32

It did, didn’t it Fancy? A group of us had to go into one of the main meeting rooms (not for anything work related)that has a lot of windows. My friend and I spent a fair bit of time looking out of the window and wishing we were outside instead.

Supermarket Sweep is one of DS2’s favourite quiz shows. He downloads them on Challenge I think every so often.

I think I’ll head to the hayloft. Fancy - there’s a Triple A experience on offer if you’re interested. Aramis, Aidan, and Armie Grin

Air? Overrated.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 19/04/2018 07:44
LetUsPrey · 19/04/2018 08:11

Morning wenches.

Fresh air is indeed on occasion overrated Fancy Grin

It’s beautiful here too Helen. I’ve got a full line of washing out. I really don’t want to go to work. I think that gas delivery might be blocking you in all day Helen.

ApricotCrush · 19/04/2018 17:46

Evening. It's toooooooo hot! No, not really, I love it. Smile

I've done two washloads and it's all put away. Yay!

Buffy is done and has gone home. Sad She's only half the cat she was which is much better for her in this weather.

We watched Cunk last night. We were doubled up with laughter half of the time; might have to watch it again as I'm sure we missed loads.

RIP Dale Winton. So many people seem to be dying young lately. Sad

LetUsPrey · 19/04/2018 18:11

Evening wenches.

at fibbing Apricot.

I didn’t go out at lunchtime as I think I’d have been tempted to just not go back in.

I’m sure Buffy is very grateful and missing you already.

Can’t think of anything else. My brain appears to have melted.
