So who else went Confused at the thought of those tiny little bridesmaids & page boys and the potential carnage.... then aaaawwww Smile at the sight of them Grin

I'm meant to be gardening... or at least hanging out more washing.

LetUsPrey · 19/05/2018 12:26

Two year old bridesmaid was a brave choice Grin. I was a bit eeeeek when I saw their ages listed but they were fab.

OK, eggy sandwich made for DS, now I need to do the washing and gardening thing... and see what sort of mess he made on the patio earlier when he was out there with tubs of water and Lego...

Or not - DS has just launched into a philisophical discussion about religion and death Confused that's a bit out of the blue!

LetUsPrey · 19/05/2018 12:47

Mmmm eggy sandwich

From Lego to religion and death - MiniHelen can cover it all. DS2 can throw in FIFA on the Wii and excitement over a new Scooby Doo DVD.

Yes, a very nice dress - thought she looked lovely, as did her mum. I muted some of teh service, but had a singalong to Bread of Heaven

Hmmm one of those greys looks a bit spooked......

LetUsPrey · 19/05/2018 13:40

Well hello James Haskell rugby player. Looking lovely in a suit there.

Afternoon wenches.

Hope WW's plumbing has been sorted and Badders is feeling alright today.

I only switched the TV on to see the outfits and Charlie walking her down the aisle, but ended up watching the whole thing and even had a little weep. We do do these things so well.

She did look lovely, and her Mum. Victoria Beckham looked like she was at a funeral with a face like a slapped arse as usual. I was worried about that horse too.

LetUsPrey · 19/05/2018 16:05

The horse was a bit wayward at times.

Have been to see parents. Back home now and getting a run down from DH of all the jobs he’s done whilst I was out. I’m super grateful of course but it’s like he’s expecting a gold star or a fanfare or some kind of awards ceremony.

My plan for the rest of the day is to sit outside with a drink and a book. I shall have to daydream the HBFs.

I have gardened massacred the compost heap nettle bed, I have light-saber-fighted, I have blind-mans-bluffed, I have played catch, I have played tennis. I have done more digging and weeding. My back is shot.
Top that MrLetUs Grin

My plan for the next hour is to lie in the bath. I must watch wedding highlights and look out for this excitable horse though...

LetUsPrey · 19/05/2018 19:52

He can’t Helen —although he’d probably try but that would necessitate him talking to me again tonight so let’s not—

Enjoy your bath. May there be an HBF ready to give you a good scrub.

I’m watching Gumball and Darwin.

Good point LetUs

We're watching some sort of car renovation programme Hmm

Oh - bonkers dreams. I had a fun time flirting with Ryan Gage in mine last night - we'd established that we were both happily in relationships, so we could flirt outrageously without either of us taking the other seriously. It was great fun. Less so was the following one where I was trying to drive a minibus around a city in snow and ice and getting lost. I wonder about my brain sometimes, I really do.

Hayloft soon...

LetUsPrey · 19/05/2018 22:04

We’ve got programmes all about John Motson on.

thanks Helen

Yay for flirting, booooo for dangerous driving conditions. That is a bonkers combination!

I may have accidentally ordered a DVD of The Killers live at the Royal Albert Hall filmed in 2009. I’ll be needing some alone time with that.

Ooops! It's shocking what you can buy on accident these days Wink

LetUsPrey · 19/05/2018 23:08

Isn’t it though? Grin

DH has listened to the boxing and we now have The Damned United on.

Hayloft for me

Morning all.

High cloud outside, not much to report. I think we can probably go back to bed for a few more hours before the sun breaks through...

LetUsPrey · 20/05/2018 09:39

Morning wenches.

Another beautiful day here, part of which will be spent ironing. Sigh.

Some will be spent outside though doing not much of anything Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 20/05/2018 10:27

Still no sun, I'm trudging out to the veg patch in the style of 7 dwarves with the shovel fork slung over my shoulder... we may go to see Inifinty War this afternoon though...

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/05/2018 10:39

Still blocked sewage here, I'm so not happy Sad

FancyFancy · 20/05/2018 11:03

Morning.

Lovely here again, just right for pootling around in the garden

Sad ww - hope it all gets sorted tomorrow.

LetUsPrey · 20/05/2018 13:34

So more of a hi ho than a hey ho Helen? Hope you get to see Infinity War.

Oh Wicked, blocked sewage is no fun

I’m ignoring my ironing until tonight Fancy.

I’m trying to sit outside and enjoy the weather but there are billions of bits of dandelion fluff floating about. It’s like a sodding invasion.

OP posts:
WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/05/2018 13:44

Did they flush nappies down the toilet????ShockShock

LetUsPrey · 20/05/2018 14:00

Some fucker did yes and they were the main suspect. That and sanitary towels and tampons were found too. Took them ages to clear it. Further down the street in the pipes they found a lot of builders’ rubble. Not sure how that had found its way into the system. I do know it wasn’t fun having poopy water floating up on to our driveway on the but where the DC played. Water company were fab though and washed it all with disinfectant and stuff.

Hopefully yours isn’t so bad.

These dandelion fluff things are really pissing me off. I’ve never seen anything like it.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 20/05/2018 14:20

I've been on two visits to a treatment plant (?) in school, that was a real eye opener Shock

FancyFancy · 20/05/2018 15:58

Afternoon

Well I made a start on the ironing - beginning to feel it is down to manageable proportions now. I did treat myself to an episode of Homeland while I did it, so it wasn't all bad. Although that programme needs some new FAF . Then enjoyed lunch in the garden. Time to tackle some weeding now.......

ApricotCrush · 20/05/2018 17:10

Afternoon.

Went to a surprise party yesterday afternoon at DS's for DGD's 11th birthday. It was a surprise for everyone, DS only decided on it at the last minute. Was lovely though. Smile

I've done sod all today, been sitting in the sun reading.

Grin at accidental ordering of DVD.

Yuk at blocked drains and toilet. Hope it's cleared soon WW.
