Am home again. Thank goodness. Am sitting being apathetic on the sofa - I lit a fire when we got home and now it's very warm so I have even less motivation to do anything.

DS was actually very self sufficient re. SportingActivity - but he can't drive... I probably should have just come home and gone back again to pick him up later. twice the driving, but less sitting about. Still I watched him, so I can award myself a 'good parent' badge for my efforts.

Would MrApricot like to do our patio too? The windows and house in general needs to be washed anyway, so he can make as much mess as he wants

I think I might spend the rest of the day under Athos's cloak, or Strike's coat. Somewhere warm and dark anyway.

Yes, it's quite pretty material and I had half an eye on it, but it's not big enough to do anything useful with really. There's another bit from the series as well - unnamed character and less pretty to look at.
