It is bright and sunny here - though somewhat soggy underfoot. The washing is in the machine, so I fully expect the heavens to open again by the time the machine is finished. Though I can't actually see a cloud in the sky. Makes up for yesterday's drive home through a thunderstorm I suppose.

Hope wenches’ days have gone well. Back is still sore, but not so bad if I’m sitting down. Unfortunately I have a humongous pile of work on my desk that has a lot of photocopying which means standing up for ages. I’ve put it off until tomorrow.

Lovely day here too, but the wind is chilly. Saying that, DS and friend spent all post-school time in the park and then in the garden building a den. DS then walked up the road with me so I could wheel him home on the sack barrow So clearly I am just a wussy adult who needs to wear a coat outside.

Still, another wheelbarrow full of weeds has been filled - couch grass today. FFS garden My superpower is going to be able to get rid of specific weeds in the garden simply by thinking about the - none of this back-breaking digging lark.

Also saw a friend today who has a new puppy [awww] 'tis very cute...

Have just been booking the tickets for Infinity War . DS1 got one of those Christmas gift boxes for the cinema that includes a couple of vouchers. They need to make it clearer how to use the bastard vouchers (they’re different to gift cards) because I was ready to fucking throw something. Anyway, tickets booked for Saturday!!!
