Well the anaesthetic is almost completely worn off, he must have used quite a bit . No eating on that side of the mouth until tomorrow though, so a little more patience needed........

Was manic busy at work today so am knackered. Still going to exerciseclass though as I got on the scales this morning and it did not make for happy reading. Going to start going for walks now the evenings are lighter too.

I have just been wrestling with online banking - admittedly the problem was initially caused by sheer stupidity on my part, but I'm now stuck in a hideous loop of
a) 'Your payment has been cancelled because the payee does not exist'
b) 'You cannot delete this payee, there is a payment pending'
ARGH!!!!!!!!!! Nice telephone banking lady suggests leaving the computer's overheated brain to cool down overnight and trying to delete the 'wrong' payee tomorrow.

Oh well, in other news, there is a Merlin re-union at the Rose Theatre in York in June/July - Alexander Vlahos and Alexandra Dowling to star in Romeo and Juliet at pop-up York theatre so Kara and Mordred still don't get a happy ending

Today I have done much gardening, washing and shuttling of DS to after school stuff. (And also cocked up online banking). I want to put my feet up and do sod all but eat chocolate and appreciate the fine acting skills of HBFs now. I imagine I will be starting to cook tea and watching sport instead.

Forgot to record Only Connect so I’ll get that off iPlayer when it’s available and set next week’s final to record. DS2 really enjoys watching it. Makes a change from Spider-Man cartoons.

Exercise never gives me a rosy glow anyway. It gives me hot sweaty knackeredness and a mild feeling of relief that I haven't been a lardy lump/that my chocolate consumption has been partially offset, by a microscopic amount.

DS has discovered that the Sky box now provides and entire channel devoted to Marvel Avergers - in cartoon form. Argh!! Though that's better that Regular Show and Gumball...

I can add to the list systems that have been created to “make a process easier to complete”. The word “streamlined” is generally bandied about. Thing is these systems appear to have been designed by people who have no fucking clue of the actual area of work. I can often be heard —swearing at it— telling it off in a stern manner.
