Eugh my SO stinks

Seriously! He won't shower.

I'm in bed, he's next to me and he stinks and his feet are awful!

I told him to go get a shower his feet stank and he's too busy on ps4

Says he'll get one in morning!

It's vile!

Ladies I can't cope

I hate him right now because of an unrelated non stinky reason

But this is just icing on the cake!

He also thinks it's funny coz he cant smell it!

Is there another bed you can go to? I seriously couldn’t ever have sex with someone who thought it was ok to get into bed shared with another person being so disgustingly dirty. How did it get to this stage OP?

Disgusting. I don’t think you should put up with this a minute longer. Tell him to sleep on the sofa and then tell him he either starts washing or it’s over.

My ExH stank. Refused to shower and didn't brush his teeth. Ever. He's an ExH for a reason ...

I slept in my daughters bed last night, he's had 1 shower in a week and a half.

I shower every day, twice if I've been the gym, done a lot of cleaning ect

He never used to be like this, he always used to smell nice

I'm currently stripping the bed and I'm going to boil wash it all

He gets the sofa. I've told him he's not getting in unless freshly showered

He never used to be like this lonicera it's a recent thing, maybe last few weeks..

Kids are have sleep over at nannas tonight so it may have to be show down :(

He's got a promotion at work, which means more responsibility, and I know it's not an easy company to work for (I used to do the same job)

Just getting me down and effecting the relationship as I just don't want to be around him.

Well if he’s not careful work will pull him up on it, there’s only so much lynx can hide and mixed with week old sweat it’s an unmistakable stench, not nice for people working around him.
Lay down the law, it’s not a massive deal having a wash, in and out in 5 minutes so can’t see why he has the issue with it.

When I suggest getting a shower all I get is....

"I'll do it later"

"I can't be bothered right now"

"It's too late now" (yet he'd been sat on his arse for 2 hours)

I'm very reactive ti smells, theu make me feel ill very easily, or give me a migraine ect

Think I'm going to have to sit him down later and put him straight with what needs to happen

I'm not even 100% sure what a troll is.

I've contacted mumsnet as I'm sure they can see I've had no name changes and haven't posted anything similar anywhere else on here

He does have a tendency to do things to wind me up (he thinks he's funny)

But I am wondering if depression might be a route cause, I know someone where we works and he said he's been quiter than normal (could be the need to ve nore professional)

His emails from work seem a bit down beat

He didn't want to go out this weekend anywhere.

Wonder if it's worth talking to him but not addressing the hygiene issue but talk about his mood ect
