We started watching Little Women and after 20 minutes DH said 'this is shit' and I kind of agreed so we gave up on it. It definitely isn't a man film, although he likes some of the Bronte stuff.

We're bored. I'd like to go for a walk, we've got a lovely National Trust place up the road, but DH can't because of his knees. He hasn't played golf for over 2 months and he's so pissed off and so am I. We're in a limbo waiting for a date for his op.

Bads, about de-icing of cars. Ours are garaged so don't get iced up, but when the DCs lived here theirs were outside and they always poured a kettle of hot (not boiling) water slowly over the windscreen with the wipers going. Then the other windows. Done in seconds, never had any problems.

I've done that before apes...it does work!

Sorry to hear about dh. He and youmust be incredibly frustrated. Id love to go for a walk but ds1 is still coughing (and revising) and ds2 just wants to chill out and play with his new stuff

Dh has gone to get his hair cut and for some grocery shopping

Dh and I are planning to go out tomorrow - no idea where yet

I'm planning on starting Pilates in January 😣 I would quite like to make 2018 a year where I do some stuff for me 😁

DH had some of that spray LetUs - he says it worked fine. I'm of the 'scrape your car for fifty years' school of thought, because by the time I've finished scraping, the windscreen has de-misted too and I've worked up a bit of heat and I clearly like to make life hard for myself . DH also pours water over it which has exactly the same instant effect, and I live in terror of it cracking.

We are home from tea at my parents, and have just watched Dr Who - yay I enjoyed it and so did DS, so I don't care if the reviews were tepid.

Badders - your concept is good, but you need to move No. 3 to No.1. I would also amend the list slightly too, but horses for courses and all that.

I used to do pilates and bloody loved it. I was also very fit at the time, which helped. But classes vary massively between teachers (DH went to a different one and it was completely different to mine), so if you don't get on with one class you should try another. I liked Yoga too. But that comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes too. Boxercise was fab as well (the joys of thumping things and it being not just encouraged, but good for you as well!). Am hoping that the Friday morning exercise class will be back in the new year.

Good to hear the spray works. I also got a de-mister sponge for inside the car. Santa was obviously very good to me.

I am ironing. I am also trying to watch The Killers videos at the same time. I watched their performance from earlier this year at Hyde Park. Brandon did this circle thing movement with his hips veeeeeeerrry slowly. I’m thinking watching stuff like that and doing the ironing are not compatible.
