I have spent the afternoon either falling asleep on the sofa watching TV with DS, or being stuck in internet/telephone banking hell.

DS still ropey, but down from his 40+ temperature of this afternoon back to 38-ish. He is watching Merlin. Bloody Lancelot can't be bothered making an appearance from what I can tell. pfft. Part-timer. There is no other FAF as far as I can tell - most of them are struggling to grow beards. FFS. I must try to get DS into Musketeers again...

So, DH has been to buy a new bike helmet for DGS and they've been riding round the road. Before it got dark of course.

Then he went and had another injection in his knee and he can't do anything on it for 48 hours. That means I have to take DGS to school tomorrow. I'm not used to getting up that early.

The sofa bit sounds wonderful Helen, but not the banking stuff. Glad DS is getting better.

I'm cold too, just turned the heating up.

Waved DS2 off this morning. He was all smiles. I know he’s going to have an amazing time but it’s very weird and quiet without him.

Bloody hell its quiet at home. I’m off work today and have loads of stuff to do, lots of little errands and tons of tidying. However, once DS1 has gone to school, do you know what I’m going to do? I’m going back to bed! Only for five minutes or so, but I’m doing it just because I can!

Right now I’m drinking and watching Merlin.

Hope MiniHelen continues to feel better and MrApricot’s knee isn’t too sore.

Not sure what’s happening with sleep stuff Badderz. Mine’s all gone to pot too. They did a big collection at DS2’s school for our local food bank for harvest and have decided to carry it on if people want to take stuff in.

Have collected my prescription (after driving round the car park three times to try to get a space), back home, hoovered upstairs, put washing out, ordered some stuff for DS2’s birthday, and am now watching more Merlin before I do the washing up and have something to eat. Need to do my nails and have a shower then off out tonight to watch The Killers!

My sleep has gone to pot because a small person keeps appearing shortly after midnight to inform me that he's woken up and is going to play sardines snuggle up in bed with me now.... Apparently he has Scarlet Fever. 'Strawberry Tongue' is not when your tongue is pink like you've been eating strawberries. And the rash isn't necessarily a rash so much as mottled skin.

We have also been watching Merlin. Still no FAF. FFS.

Afternoon all.

I don't need an alarm clock Helen although Athos is welcome I'm always up making a cuppa around 6.30. The problem is having to be up, showered, dressed and at DD's at a ridiculous time. Although she pays for a staff parking space, if she's not early they've all gone and she has to park on a pub car park 10 minutes away thus making her late. Anyway I did it, and then did the food shop after so got ahead of myself. I've done sod all since.

DH's knee is fine and he feels guilty for having to sit watching golf all day.

I take it you meant the food bank Bads, there are no good banks.

Fucksake what is wrong with me?! I feel, I don’t know, very anxious. In fact, my anxiety levels appear to be fairly high but I don’t know why. I’m on a day off and am out tonight FFS and should be happy and excited but I’m feeling on edge and rubbish. Ran a bath, got in with a book, couldn’t relax. Doooooooooooooom

In real life: DS2 is away, you're not at work on a work-day and everything is a bit out of synch. you'll be fine. And you'll have a fab time at the Killers.
