We watched Blue Planet last night. Amazeballs! However, I did think what a change it was to watch something that didn't contain any horror, until ......... I suppose you expect it with nature programmes though. It wasn't as bad as the mention it quietly duckling.

Feel like shit, appear to have caught a cold off FancyMan & consequently have been a little grumpy all day. Fortunately we spent part of it watching the Death of Stalin (thanks for the recommendation wenches) which was excellent. And meant I didn't have to be all scintillating

Not been too cold here, and we don't do trick or treat in the sticks. Next door came round once and stood at the door looking hopeful while I looked blank - fortunately I was able to raid DS's stash of haribos once next door had come up with a joke to earn them. Doesn't stop DS carving a pumpkin with DH though

Today I discovered why I've appeared to be so fit at home but struggled in the exercise class - DH adjusted the stepper to try and get rid of a squeak over the summer holidays while I wasn't using it. And in the process massively reduced the height it stepped to. He went on it yesterday, and reset the height. So I went on it this evening and discovered I was rather less fit that I'd thought. FFS
