Well I genuinely didn't watch Strictly last night, had an impromptu night out.

Will properly not watch it today when I do the ironing.

Ought to get moving as I have a long list of tedious stuff to get through today. Laters....

Ds2 feeling poorly - his glands are huge and he had a headache

Erm.. because antibiotics target bacterial infections, they do nothing for viruses. You'd want an anitviral - assuming you knew exactly what variation of the virus it was. Or was that a rhetorical question

It's an inset day here so of course I have another migraine thanks gluten free diet and am on the sofa watching nature programmes with ds. Blue Planet 2 was ace - did anyone see it? Now watching Shark Bites with steve backshall and thinking of letus

I just finished reading a book called Gut wait come baaaaack by a German doctor, partly what led me to the gluten free idea for migraines. Its all about how amazing your gut is, what it does, what it needs / doesnt need, etc. Would highly recommend. Surprisingly entertaining in parts, and fascinating stuff about the "gut as second brain", and the microbes and good / bad bacteria.

We missed Blue Planet - I shall insist on it tonight... after school club and dentist and music lesson for DS... Maybe tomorrow night then.

Afternoon wenches. It's nearly dark. I hate the nine weeks before the end of the year including Christmas.

God, getting to Dunelm was a nightmare. They're replacing the metro line and I was stood over the road but they wouldn't let me cross. In the end we had to go miles slight exaggeration out of our way to get there. Anyway, I got what I wanted.

Sorry about Madame's migraine and MiniBads' virus or whatever it is. Hope both will be better soon.

Watched the Strictly results. Surprised at the dance off, but not who went in the end.

I didn't know Blue Planet II was on. Will look for it on catch-up.
