Well, we won 2-0, and are top of our league. Yay! Actually LetUs I'm a noisier spectator than DH. I'm on my feet shouting 'shoot', 'off-side', 'get up, you're not hurt'.

DH has gone to out to rescue DS's GF and one of her boys. They went to the match and missed the bus and the next one isn't for an hour.

Will be watching Strictly when he gets back. Agree there are too many couples. I wonder how long they allow for voting and what time the results show is filmed.

Evening. We have tiles without anyone being killed in the process. We I've also cleared space in the garden for the next man-cave shed. Have been out or busy all day with domestic tedium (I also forgot about my washing until mid-afternoon Apricot - it's just staying on the line overnight.)

Am also getting increasingly frustrated with DS not doing what he's told/thinking he can negotiate everything and sulking when he doesn't get his own way. FFS. I know this is typical behaviour and nothing unusual, and I probably need to manage my expectations a bit more. But arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. FFAS, parenting is bloody hard work. How the hell do single parents cope?! (Speaking of which, I hope Comtess is getting on ok without MrC to keep them all organised!)

I think I need chocolate. And HBFs. And a hot bath. All at the same time. I may get two out of three - Lindor were on offer so I treated myself to a box a dark a few days ago. I think I may be about to break into it.

Will come back later when I'm feeling less miserable and grouchy. Will think about the HBF/towel study when I'm in the bath. It will be flawless when we're done planning. Except, as per Fancy's idea, we will discover that we've overlooked something major at the end, and need to start again from scratch.

In an effort to illustrate this post, I tried to find a picture of someone with hamster-style cheeks/mouth full of chocolate...
I found a picture of BabyLetUs and a WTAF moment with (I kid you not) a chocolate dress... This looks entirely messy and impractical for anything other than having fun with HBFs. I approve. though not of the actual puffball skirt style part. I would suggest these two HBFs to help remove said dress from the relevant wenches...
