I shall now go to the local builders merchants and hope they have more not-creosote for me to continue splashing about... but I shall also do the after-school-club run, so I'll change out of the creosoted clothes before I go. #classy

Sunny here too, so loads of washing and I also swept the terrace and got up leaves and conifer rubbish. Am now exhausted.

On the Strike front, I finished re-reading Silkworm. I think the programme makes too much of the budding relationship with Robin. It's a very slow burn in the books. He's still in love with Charlotte and although he is growing fond of Robin, at the moment I think he sees himself more as a mentor, in spite of the spark when he saw her in the green dress. Of course they'll get together eventually, but I hope JKR keeps us waiting, the sexual tension is so much more exciting.

Still mourning the lack of the Nina Lascelles storyline and the fact that he went to her for distraction on Charlotte's wedding night.

I wonder if Badders can't find the new thread.

FriendAtWork hasn’t read the Strike books and really loved both stories. I mentioned about the missing bedroom scene with Nina and she loved it a tiny bit less . She has decided she —fancies— greatly admires TB so I might lend her my Musketeers DVDs.

Sportingactivity for DS1 tonight. Fingers crossed for HBI. And then Lucifer season 1 finale when we get back. Shall watch —Jamie— Outlander tomorrow.

Ordered a couple of things from Amazon yesterday with Prime so I’d get them today. Chose delivery to home in case a delivery to work didn’t arrive before I left today. Am sure workmen who were here today would have kept it safe for me. Nothing when I got home, nothing after I’d collected DS2, nothing this evening. Just got an email from them saying sorry can’t deliver today and to “allow an additional day or two”. WTAF? Have emailed them.
