Are you meaning out of sheer laziness or because of environmental concern?

AuntyQuated · 03/04/2007 21:21

i thought everyone did everytime

totaleclipse · 03/04/2007 21:22

Not through the night, dts are light sleepers.

Chloe55 · 03/04/2007 21:22

I prefer to flush after every go but will leave a wee in the pot if ds is just going off to sleep.

Kelly1978 · 03/04/2007 21:23

yes!

Hilllary · 03/04/2007 21:24

What do they say "If its brown flush it down, if its yellow let it mellow"

Personally I like to flush

PestoEasterMonster · 03/04/2007 21:24

Yes!

ScoobyDooooo · 03/04/2007 21:24

Yes always do.

beansprout · 03/04/2007 21:25

Last summer Ken actually asked us not to flush after a wee, due to the water shortage.

NuttyMuffins · 03/04/2007 21:25

Yep

Kelly1978 · 03/04/2007 21:26

hmm, so d'ya reckon Ken puts up with a loo that reeks of urine?

SpeckledHen · 03/04/2007 21:27

me and dh do not flush wee at night. think this came from me since my parents never did. it is a bit revolting really. we do when we have guests though. i guesss the reason is the noise of flushing.

DontlookatmeImshy · 03/04/2007 21:27

We flush each time unless ds has just gone to sleep and there's a danger of waking him.

Ialways worry when we visit people overnight. Do I flush and annoy them by waking them up or do I not flush and annoy them by leaving them a smelly loo. Personally I'd prefer not to be woken.

Yurtgirl · 03/04/2007 21:28

Owing to consideration for the environment we only flush if its poo or lots of wee.

No problems caused as long as lid is down and bathroom door is shut

Flushing everytime is a HUGE waste of water

MerryMarigold · 03/04/2007 21:29

I never flush a bit of yellow. FGS, it's in the toilet bowl - not your washing up bowl! We have a very old toilet with a powerful flush and I dread to think of the wastage. When there's about 4 lots of loo paper in there, I flush (and also, before people come round!).

TrilbyOFerrall · 03/04/2007 21:30

Can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have never flushed our toilet, not once. Nor has dd or dh

ComeOVeneer · 03/04/2007 21:31

Put a brick in the cistern, cuts down on the amount of water used at each flush

MintChocChippyMinton · 03/04/2007 21:31

trilby - ????????

We flush after a few pees and after every poo, water shortage here in Spain...and we've a bottle full of water in the cistern

HopeIGetSomeMegaEggs · 03/04/2007 21:33

I do but nobody else in ths farkin' house does.

bristols · 03/04/2007 21:34

Exactly the same as MerryMarigold in our house. Massive waste of water, as yurtgirl said.

zephyrcat · 03/04/2007 21:34

I have to admit, not flushing is one of my pet hate 'things'. I can't stand going into use the toilet if it hasn't been flushed!

tinkerbellhadpiles · 03/04/2007 21:35

We have ahem intelligent toilets. They have different buttons for number ones and number twos. They are really good because they have a vacuum thingy in which sort of cleans the loo when they flush, so they hardly ever need cleaning.

Mind you, even if they did I probably wouldn't notice [slatternly grin]

DimpledThighs · 03/04/2007 21:37

not if it is just a wee unless other people are around. I don;t think DS realises that our toilet flushes despite being told EVERY CHUFFING DAY!

TrinityRhino · 03/04/2007 21:37

do you live in the future tinker?
