It's unbelievable, Sassy. Sometimes I despair at the evil there is in the world. But then I think of the people in the crowd who would have helped complete strangers there, and the emergency services who spend their lives helping others. And then I realise that the smallest bit of light breaks up the darkness. I truly believe that most people are inherently good and it's just a tiny, tiny minority who are this evil. It's just that their actions disproportionately affect us and I just can't comprehend how anyone can target children and teenagers, I just can't.
As for the Adele concert, I wouldn't make any decisions just yet. My gut instinct is that it's probably the safest time to go to a concert as security will be so tight, but obviously you need to decide for yourself.
DS1 was due to go to Paris a month or so after the attacks there and his school cancelled the trip. I absolutely understood where they were coming from, but I thought it was such a shame.
