Morning all, lovely day here but still a bit chilly.

Oh how lovely Bads. I've done a lot of crochet, I once did a dress.

I have a question for Minty because she's the only person I know who does it. In all crochet I've seen recently, what I've always known as double crochet they call single crochet and what I've always known as triple crochet they call double crochet. Is this an American thing or what? I think I'd have trouble doing anything with a new pattern now. Very confusing.

We apparently don't have Deathwatch chez SisterHelen. I am not convinced because I know what we've both repeatedly heard. However, there is no sign of the little sods under the floorboards, and the conditions under the floorboards are not conducive to deathwatch. so that;s good (no deathwatch) and bad (so WTAF is it then?!)
