Enjoy Madame - let us know if it's any good - if you notice the film itself and don't just drool over JLM Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 11/02/2017 19:44

Has another Wine

It's going to be briliant, obviously! Grin It has had great reviews, so I imagine if you liked the first one you will like it.

LetUsPrey · 11/02/2017 19:58

Roast chicken here too Helen!

I really want to stay up and watch Tom Hardy Taboo tonight but I'm knackered and feel crap so I should really have an early night.

Well, great may be overstating it. Good, anyway.

LetUsPrey · 11/02/2017 20:03

Speaking of reviews, this excerpt is from the Mirror re the new fifty shades film. Made me Grin Grin "If you want to watch a movie about a billionaire playboy with a penchant for darkness, inflicting violence and dressing up in masks, you're far better off seeing The Lego Batman Movie."

That seems spot on Wicked Grin

DC are upstairs, DH is in the kitchen (although he keeps appearing in the living room to tell me things that are obviously super important), so I'm going to watch a bit of Father Brown whilst I have a few minutes. Edgy.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/02/2017 20:30

LetUs is Father Brown how you get a sneaky Trev fix?

I heard a review that called 50 Shades "as erotic as a bluebottle landing on your arse" (or similar) Grin suffice to say I'm far more interested in Lego Batman Grin

Sadly he's not in the later series Helen although that was one of my reasons for watching the early series

Re Lego Batman - there were parts where DS1 was muttering at me out of the corner of his mouth "shut up mum, you're so embarrassing" when I was laughing. Glowing recommendation Grin

Watching TM S3 EP 5, Athos is sexy as hell!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/02/2017 21:03

Wicked - the first part of your sentence is redundant. All you needed was:

Athos is here to help with the mopping up. Look he's got a bucket and he's got the mop behind him.

So much for my early night. Ended up watching an NCIS. Definitely hayloft now though.

Omg it was amaaaaazing!!!!

Soooooooo funny. Unexpectedly. Just brilliant.

And there was one bit when jlm and eg are in some woods in the middle of the night having been brought there with two shovels by a scary gangster man (everything turned out fine btw). Anyway so scary gangster man says to them:

"Take off your clothes. All of them."

And I was like, YEEEEEEES!

Grin
SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 12/02/2017 07:50

Right... haven't done this for a while...

ta-dah!!!

at Madame's review of T2 - Film reviews Wench style - skip to the good bits eh?!

Also hurrah for useful Athos doing the mopping. I shall provide a suitable reward for him

It is currently sleeting here. We have had a sprinkling of snow overnight, (think icing-sugar srinkled on cake) but it's mostly been washed away now. Livestock and Wildlife is fed, and DS is plugged into computers.

DH could not sleep last night, thus I could not sleep - even when he got up and went downstairs so I could sleep. Then he came back and went to sleep so I lay awake and listened to him breathing until sometime after 2pm. FFS... Still, at least I'm being cooked for and fed lunch today by wonderful parents.

I should probably do something about breakfast...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 12/02/2017 08:01

I probably won't for a while though... because I'm lost in social media and laughing with delight at @biggreenbooks who are tweeting all of Happy Potter to Piers Moron (who has been trying to argue with JK Rowling and losing badly, but was very proud to say he'd never read a word of HP)

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 12/02/2017 08:07

Here is Santi recovering from Fancy's weekend away. (Yes, Madame, I know... )

MadamedeChevreuse · 12/02/2017 08:36

Ah, the Heroes death scene! Grin

Id like to suggest something: let's all substitute the words "Piers Morgan" fpr "shit" in our everyday lives. As in, "Dp has just done a massive Piers and the bathroom reeks." Or, "the cat had a huge Piers on the sofa, Im going to kill it."

How brilliant would it be if it caught on nationally...

MadamedeChevreuse · 12/02/2017 08:44

Seriously, I would highly recommend T2. The first half was sooooo funny. It kind of had shades of Last of the Summer Wine, but with heroin and criminality.

The funniest moment was when eg and jlm got stuck in a unionist Orangemen bar and were forced to perform an improvised Unionist song to avoid a beating.

It started out like My Lovely Horse in Father Ted. Jlm was playing badly the two chords he knew on the piano and all was going very wrong. Then eg hit on the inspired line, "There were no more Catholics left"...

Everyone in the cinema was in stitches.

LetUsPrey · 12/02/2017 09:09

Morning wenches.

Lovely clean tav Helen - thanks! Big pile of poo to disrupted sleep Sad

Excellent reviews Madame. Important question - did JLM take his clothes off when requested?

I don't do Twitter but I occasionally see JKR's tweets. I love her Grin

I still feel crappy. Woe etc.
