Helen - we made "a deal" with school re DS2 and his homework. We'd tell him once to do it, sometimes a reminder, but then that was it. If he didn't do it in time, it went into school not done/incomplete. He would then have to do it in break time at school. Teacher agreed with this. He's never not done it although my ears are still ringing from some of the protests
