Questions:

1. Why doesn't my office look like this?

I am so pleased that the snow hasn't fallen everywhere they said it would. I think there are some flooding problems expected in parts of the country. Hope there aren't any wenches involved with that.

Apricot at the frozen water tank. I was living SomewhereCold once when I came back from a week away to find that the toilet was frozen over I happened (looking slightly shell-shocked) to meet the neighbours just after I got back and they took me in and poured whickey into me. I think that was also after I switched the heating back on (which my houseshare had turned off ) and the boiler blew a gasket and fountained water all over the floor - which turned into an icerink. Happy days! (In retrospect)

Thanks helen - I had a flat like that once. No central heating, but fortunately a portable heater for thawing out the bathroom

I absolutely want a cushion fort. It's blowing a fucking gale again. We had a tiny bit of snow but the rain's washed it away and the bloody winds have taken care of the rest. What's it like where you are Wicked?

Cushion forts are all well and good, but I'd rather just be in a bed with a big thick duvet. Or that's maybe just because of the build quality of mine being slightly, well.... I wouldn't trust one not to collapse if the activities inside get too energetic
