Doctor Aramis is on his way (not remotely doctor-y but I like the photo)

I should go to bed but I'm watching West Wing

I should go to bed but I'm looking at that Arapic - bless him, he does look like he's concentrating hard on a dilemma. But that's Thursday nights for you, madame & I do like to provide him with plenty of options Wink

LetUsPrey · 09/12/2016 00:21

Oh look, two of him!

Seriously, hayloft

I'm SO not cleaning the bathroom today....

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/12/2016 10:21

Morning.

I still want Madame's full List, including variations in hair colour (looking at you, JLM) and preferably ranked. #LivesVicarously Grin

And I want to wave a magic wand and not need to work today, and, and, and...

I'm sure I had something interesting to say, but it completely escapes me... we have a new sink?

Oh well. Hope LetUs is home in time to see DS1 off, and that Comtess is/was at the airport to embarrass DS1 by being tearfully pleased to see him.

^^ I typed all that well over an hour ago and then forgot to post it, as ever.
Hmm at own powers of organisation...

Badders123 · 09/12/2016 10:52

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/12/2016 11:29

pfft. How does that make up for it? Just because he's lying down ready and waiting, I'm not that easy desperate unless Athos is involved

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 09/12/2016 14:01

My blob arrived early Angry

ApricotCrush · 09/12/2016 14:50

Afternoon all.

Well, DH has a cold. He must feel rough because he hasn't been to golf. At least it's spurred me on to get jobs done as I'm sure to catch it.

So I phoned the hospital. To cut a very long story short I gave them all the info: I had an ECG, blood pressure monitor, heart monitor, heart ultrasound going back 2 months, and no results. They put me through to the consultant's secretary who says letters were sent to GP on 11th and 24th November. I phone GP and receptionist attempts to read out the letters which are full of medical jargon and mean nothing to me and says that a further outpatient appt will be sent in THREE MONTHS. I've asked for the letters and will see what I think.

Ok, I'm not worried, but I would like someone to explain to me what is going on. To be honest, after you reach a certain age, I don't think the NHS gives a shit. I've gone to the GP with other problems and you're more or less told to live with it, nothing is ever sorted.

Anyway, has DS1 arrived yet Comtess?

Congrats on the new sink Helen. Xmas Hmm

Oh dear WW. At least that's one problem I don't have. Xmas Smile

Badders123 · 09/12/2016 16:04

That's piss poor apes!
I was once a medical secretary and there is no excuse for that time lapse IMO
Hope once you get the letters it may put your mind at ease - and hope you don't get the dreaded lurgy!
I agree btw - I'm 44 and feel like I'm basically being told "deal with it"
Wicked...mine has arrived too blob sisters
I've just spent half an hour going through the Xmas radio times with my highlighter pen Xmas Smile
Have to say, for me, not much on Xmas Confused
Dh and DC are off to pils soon for swimming lessons etc
I shall sit in bed watching trash
Have a good night all x

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 09/12/2016 16:53

I'm a medical secretary Bads, we're so made for each other Xmas Wink

Three months!!! Apes Shock

I ordered clothes a while ago and I always get a text when I can collect it at the nearest "supermarket", it's a small one in the nearest village.
Anyway, I tracked it online and it arrived several days ago but no text!
When I was in the store a while ago a youngster who works there was complaining to me how it was so difficult to handle packages when customers were constantly bothering him! So it wouldn't surprise me if my package haven't been registered or something and it's his fault.

Badders123 · 09/12/2016 16:54

Well....of course!! 💞
