DH has been yammering on at me about football on and off recently. I sigh and he asks "are you not interested?"

I have so far resisted saying "is he playing? Then no".

Probably not. Give it to a cat shelter?

Lamb turned out quite well, needs a bit more spices though. I feel so grown up cooking lamb Xmas Smile

I am very much enjoying the pretty pictures.

Pfft do they not know that Wicked is priceless?

I'm also drinking. DS2 is playing a Christmas game on the wii. It's doing my head in,

My Amazon basket is overflowing. I think I need to tackle Tesco tomorrow morning.

How about this one Fancy?

FancyFancy · 03/12/2016 20:56

That'll do nicely letus

ApricotCrush · 03/12/2016 22:08

Beautiful pictures WW.

Nooooo, half-price meatballs, how could they? Xmas Grin

I didn't really enjoy Strictly tonight. I'm not a fan of musicals, and I think all the other dancers were a distraction.

Well the tree lights are done and it's my job to put the baubles on tomorrow. Nobody else is allowed to touch it. I remember one year when DGD wanted to 'help' and I nearly had a nervous breakdown. Xmas Shock

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 03/12/2016 22:23

Is it tradition that you decorate a Christmas tree this early in December?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/12/2016 22:24

We don't even have a tree yet!

Night all... I am heading to the hayloft to take advantage of athos that nice new bale that LetUs broke open... (and Athos) Grin

FancyFancy · 03/12/2016 22:31

Absolutely not ww Wink

I'm with helen, no tree here yet. Mine usually goes up about a week before Christmas - don't want a bare tree by Christmas Day. Also I can't be keeping it safe from the cats for that long Grin

LetUsPrey · 03/12/2016 23:04

We're going to do ours midweek at some point. DS1 is away next weekend and, when I asked if he wanted to help with the tree or wasn't bothered, he said he wants us to wait until he's back. The weekend after is too late apparently not according to me it isn't

I am cracking on with Christmas shopping.

I agree Apricot - the backing dancers were very distracting and got in the way. Not sure why Louise being lifted on to the judges' desk wasn't classed as a lift Xmas Hmm

And you'd combust if you saw our tree Xmas Grin

We always do ours first week in December
Used to be later pre kids
Well
Today is;
Homework hell
Ironing
Cooking lunch (mum coming)
Trying to keep ds2 occupied whilst ds1 and dh are at his match
Sigh
Day of rest my arse

LetUsPrey · 04/12/2016 09:35

Morning wenches.

Shopping this morning. Going to tackle the cards list. Also taking DS1 with me.

Washing, ironing, homework wrangling. There'll be some Gibbs in there at some point, perhaps some West Wing.

Morning. Beautiful day here, but very cold.

We're about a week early with the tree this year, but DH was up in the loft for something else and said he wasn't going up again. We don't have a real tree. It's one we've had for, ooh, donkey's years and it comes apart and goes in a box. We also have a smaller one in the dining room.

Right, better get dressed and make a start.

Hope everywench has a good day. Smile
