It looks sodding cold again here, but hopefully not as bad as yesterday - ScaredyCat was out for quite a bit of last evening & when she came in she followed me everywhere & climbed on me the moment I sat down. It's very sweet, but not great for getting stuff done

Oh, hello WW. I've been buying mince pies for about a fortnight now, but for DH, not me. I like them but they're very fattening.

Unfortunately I feel rubbish. Thought I was feeling better at about 2pm but I was wrong, left work early in an effort to miss the worst of the traffic and am now on the settee under a blanket. Woe is me. Gah I am so bad at being ill, such a wimp.

I don't like mince pies. Despite this, every year my lovely MIL tries to get me to eat at least one . I think she forgets and it's sort of a "tradition" now that after all these years she still does the "will you not just try one? Perhaps with some cream? Or custard? Or brandy butter?"
