B3 - may your arsing about builders etc get itchy piles that are not relieved by scratching

Auntie - I'm going to Manchester Three Rivers Gin in January (Ginuary?). Smallish local distillery. Is vair nice.

Also my Craft Gin Club delivery is arriving today. Much yay!!

PurpleDaisies · 02/12/2016 08:49

Craft gin club? Why did I not know about the existence of such s thing?

Hope all goes well today zombie.

Somerville · 02/12/2016 08:53

Ooh. Good luck somer I like babies

Me too. I've had more than my fair share already. And old eggs plus crappy sperm means it's not likely. It's an excuse for lots of shagging as much as anything else. I didn't think through that I'd have to give up wine though. Hmm

TanteRose · 02/12/2016 08:56

Thinking of you Zomb!

IamtheZombie · 02/12/2016 09:06

PacificDogwod · 02/12/2016 11:25

Nah, I'm not with wrt to babies - did not mind pregnancy and found labour quite exciting, but babies? Overrated IMO - give me a walking talking child any day of the week Grin

Craft gin club, you say? Hm....

PacificDogwod · 02/12/2016 11:26

I'm not with you wrt...
Blush

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/12/2016 11:49

pacific I like children too. But pregnancy left me with severe mobility problems and the last time I went through labour I gave birth to a 10lb 10.5oz beast. I am not doing that again!

PacificDogwod · 02/12/2016 11:54

Yeah, I do know that it's very different for everybody Blush
It's just the thought of being expected to look after a baby again gives me shivers...
I did have 4 - must remember to get my head examined.... Hmm

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/12/2016 12:07

Grin yeah, I think I need mine examined too. Why I thought looking after toddlers was a good idea when I have my own and know they are unreasonable little feckers I don't bloody know

Fiderer · 02/12/2016 12:57

No hot wires or matchsticks today, she's been referred for that. Quite cheerful, said "My nose will be barbecued then?"

I think I was v fortunate. Loved being pregnant, though labour was a bit of a bugger. 2 emergency CS. 1 elective.

Loved the baby stage, toddlers, youngsters, all up to now - teenagers. Mine are 14/17/19.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 02/12/2016 15:55

I loved being pregnant but really struggled with the baby stages (PND).

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/12/2016 16:01

I had a fab pregnancy with my first. Labour was 38 hours of hell.

Pregnancy with my second was OK until the end when I developed spd. Labour was fine though but I had PND.

My 3rd is what did the.most damage. I couldn't move at all by the end of that pregnancy because the SPD was so bad.
He's 16 months and I still need physio and have been told I will for a while yet.

OhTheRoses · 02/12/2016 16:54

Ha, I was great at getting them out; troublesome keeping them in. Lost count of pgs - have two children. 22 and 18. The teenage years have not been easy. But thrilled that dd has just heard she has an Oxford interview Smile

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/12/2016 17:03

Flowers sorry for your losses roses but good luck to DD!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 02/12/2016 18:03

Sorry haven't been around today Z, really hope it went well this afternoon and you're now relaxing somewhere glam with a nice drink.

Day 2 of moving in, we won't sleep in the house tonight, but will tomorrow.
Can't find any everyday clothes! Only evening dresses and posh wedding outfits! Very useful.

Just waiting to hear if they've got the hot water working, which will also give us underfloor heating, fx.

Still haven't any of the massive mirrors, storage has been at the factory so they must have been put somewhere safe, and secret!

Thanks for all the sympathetic messages, we're lucky to be able to be a bit flexible.

And it is looking rally nice Smile

cin cin Phalanx Wine (can't do gin, don't know when to stop Blush)

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 02/12/2016 18:04
